As Yugi was quietly reading to Atem, something made him feel calm.
'At least you can still act as a baby, but I can tell.. You're hiding something'Yugi stopped, seeing that the Pharaoh has fallen into deep slumber. As the boy closed the book, he heard footsteps by the door.
"Akhenaden" he muttered, He gently placed the book down onto the dresser that was beside Atem's bed, then gently opened the door to see the old man circling in front of the room.
"What do you want?" Yugi asked as he shut the door behind him. "Snooping on us for information or something?"
"Tsk. I'm only here so you don't do anything stupid"
"Like what? Slam a book on his head? Even if I did do that, I'm sure it wouldn't even phase him. Besides, I caught onto this stupid game. Whatever you want to do with the Pharaoh and the Priest, I won't let you" Yugi tried to keep his voice low.
"Well that's why I am here. I need to have talk with you"
"About what?"
"Seto is my son. I haven't told him about it, nor do I want him to know. I always envied my brother and his son, how his life was fine but mine was complete trash!"
"Well Akhenaden. If you envy your brother due to him having a golden life, fine. But don't bring anyone into this. Deal with it, alright? And I obviously don't know what happened in your past, but you need to tell Seto soon. You can't keep lying to him.. If you find the right time and place and explain to him why you abandoned him, I am sure he'll understand. I still terribly hate you, but if you need help, I will"
"I hate talking to you too, but you're the only one I can speak to about this"
Yugi shrugged.

Yugi went to bed in Atem's room for the night. Something about going in to his room gave him the chills. As he lied down onto the floor, he eventually closed his eyes, falling asleep as well.
...
The following morning, Yugi found himself in the Pharaoh's arms, in the bed.
'Did he move me here last night? A bit too close but I don't want to move to wake him up, I'll just pretend to fall asleep and see if I can..'
As the boy shut his eyes, ironically the Pharaoh had woken up.
He made a small smirk. "I know you're awake, Yugi. And yes, I did move you here. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and I saw you scrunched up onto to the floor so I put you up onto my bed then went to do my thing.. After that, well as you can see.."
Yugi opened his eyes slowly. "How could you tell I was asleep.. and how did you know what I was thinking..? And it's fine, I chose to sleep onto the floor. You didn't have to put me here-"
"Well I did. And Yugi, I have been in God knows where for the past.. 2 years or something, I can easily tell who's awake and who's not. And I just assumed on what you were thinking. Anyways let's get refreshed and stuff. It's going to be a busy day"
Yugi nodded his head, slipping off the bed to go to his room.
"Oh and Yugi"
The boy turned around, "Hm?"
"Be careful"
Yugi left the room, confused on what he meant.
...
Later that day, Atem was sitting in his room, tracing his finger on the chess board.
"Atem, we caught someone stealing some items from your father's tomb!" a man said sternly.
