The sun was strong, light flooded into the palace windows.
Yugi got up from his bed, clutching the necklace in his hand.

"Alright Atem, we'll get you back to normal"

As Yugi walked down to the cellars, he ended up passing Seto's room. He glanced in, him still asleep but his face looked so agitated and stressed.

With a sigh, Yugi walked on.

"You sure about this, Yugi?" Mana asked as she ran up to him.

"I'm positive. With Seto's condition we won't be able to save Atem in time!"

"Can't we just use his Millennium Rod ourselves?" Mana suggested.

"No" Yugi said coldly. "When a Millennium Item is given to someone, that person and their item will soon have a bond with each other. This is so people who attempt to take it, won't be able use it"

"Wait. How do you know that and also what happens if that person dies?" Mana questioned.

"When I went to the library yesterday, I found a book that Aknamkanon had explained everything about the items he crafted. Also, if someone were to pass on, the millennium item will be given a new host but until they find it's host, it will be placed on an obelisk which has all placements of the items. For what I remember it was in a tomb for Atem or something along those lines"

Mana's eyes were wide with fascination. "That's so cool! You're very smart, Yugi!"

"Heh heh, just trying to help"

...

Mana opened the large metal door that led to the cellars. "After you" she said.

"Thank you" Yugi analyzed the place. Last time he was here it didn't seemed to be dark or have a wave of negativity surround the place.

Once they both made it down, Shimon, Akhenaden, Mahad, Iris, and Shada were gathered around Atem.

"Good, you are both here" Iris said with a welcoming smile.

"Everyone away now" Shimon said. "Leave room for the boy and our wizards"

They backed away, being drowned i complete darkness.

"Atem.." Yugi placed his hand on his cheek, "Thank you" he turned around. "Alright, let's do this"

Everyone watched as Mana and Mahad sprinkled down some mint green dust on the ground, forming a circle around Atem. Yugi glanced at the book.
"So once it is done, it should glow a dark purple then I would have to get inside the barrier before it completely blocks us off" He mumbled to himself.

"Yugi, now!"

The boy jumped in, feeling the barrier of the circle closing, and the air growing thin.

"You will be fine in there" Mahad said.
"And don't worry about damaging the circle when you walk around, it'll be fine"

Yugi nodded his head.

"So what is this exactly?" Shada asked.

"This type of circle takes both light and darkness and converges them together. If the light is strong enough, it will dominate its other half and break the demon away. But Yugi is making a great sacrifice for us. If he's not careful, he could end up dying. But also this would effect Atem's life span. We asked him when he was back to himself and he said he didn't care about what happened to him, as long as he is back to normal, he's fine" Mahad explained sternly.

"Did you mention about what Yugi is doing?" Mana raised her voice as she kept her eye on the two boys.

"No I didn't" Mahad answered.
