"SLAPPY!" Shelly shrieked. She quickly put both of her arms around Slappy's waist and hoisted him up. Still holding a tight grip on Bill Cipher's arm, the puppet struggled and squirmed, his little legs kicking in the air.

"Let go of me, human!" he screamed. He tried to break free, but the waitress had a firmly grasp on him.

"Good thing that the place is empty this time of day," Shelly whispered under her breath.

Meanwhile, Bill was trying to loosen the grip that Slappy had on his arm. Kai was leaning back, watching what was happening. His eyes shifted from side to side, not wanting to miss a single detail. "Chaos," he murmured.

The one-eyed triangle turned his attention towards the Taker of Chi and frowned. "What are you doing?" he asked angrily.

"You heard what the narrator said," the yak responded as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I am just sittin' back and watchin'." The yellow triangle let out a heavy sigh. "I teamed up with these two dumbheads?" he whispered to himself.

"Ow!"

Slappy tighten his grip on the dorito's arm, not wanting to let go.

"Yai!" Bill exclaimed, still trying to tug the little, wooden hand off him. "Do not just sit there and stare! Help me!"

The Maker of Widows narrowed his eyebrows at the yellow pyramid. "My name is Kai - Billy," he corrected.

The one-eyed dorito rolled his eye. "Whatever," he said. "Just get this stupid puppet off of me!"

"I heard that, you dumb dorito!" Slappy replied harshly. "Besides, I am only gripping your dang arm!"

"Fine!" Kai exclaimed, realizing that he had no choice but to help. He stood up, leaned over the table, and grabbed Slappy's wrist.

Suddenly, the wooden hand let go of Bill's arm. Slappy slowly withdrew his hand and examined it, looking for scratches and marks. Shelly still kept a firm grasp around his waist. The puppet looked up at the yak and the dorito, who were staring back at him.

Were those Slappy's eyes?

Yes. Those were definitely Slappy's eyes - glassy, brown, and...puppet-like.

Then Slappy closed his eyes and went limp in Shelly's arms.
