"You actually destroyed my Papa's typewriter?"
"Yep. With a snap of my fingers, I burned that stupid typewriter into a crisp."
"Into a pile of ashes? Just like that?"
"Just like that."
"...wish I thought of that."
The three monsters were at California Pizza Kitchen, talking and laughing and getting to know each other. None of them were hungry, but they wanted to go out and talk things over - that is, defeating Zorac and freeing the entire universe from his wrath, not to mention going back to their worlds - or each other's - to finish what they started.
"I am glad that we are finally out of the abyss," Kai stated as he took a knife and cut his bread into two equal pieces. He turned to the audience.
"Hey, I may be evil, but even the best villains use table manners," he told them. Slappy and Bill had confused looks on their faces.
"Who are you talking to?" Slappy asked as he and Bill turned to where the Taker of Chi was looking at.
"The reader or readers who is or are reading this fanfiction," he responded, pointing.
Bill frowned. "You do realize that whoever is reading this is not actually in the story with us, right?" he explained.
Kai nodded. "I do. I just don't want to give out the wrong information, and it is true. Just because we have table manners, does not mean that we are at all nice."
"Excuse me?"
At the sound of that, the three villains turned to where the voice was coming from. A young, pretty lady was standing in front of their table. The girl had short, blond hair with green eyes. She wore a pink top and a blue skirt. She also wore an apron around her waist.
Slappy dropped his menu at the sight of the young woman. "Wh-who are you?" the puppet stammered.
"My name is Shelly Madison," the woman answered. "I have been sent by a mysterious figure to get rid of all of you."
