I know I came out with a next chapter really quick, but for some reason I just came up with a really funny idea. So I hope you guys enjoy.

The next day, I woke up early to head to the hospital. Carli had stayed over night with Jade, Julie had stayed with Morgan. Today, Kelley and I were gonna switch in.

I was walking down the corridor with a coffee tray in one hand, a bag of bagels in the other. Suddenly, I heard screaming from room 217, followed by laughter as Carli screamed, "NOOT. NOOOOOT. YOU SUNK MY DESTROYER. NOOOOOOOT!" I walked into the room, seeing as Jade was sitting up in her bed with Carli sitting Indian style on the opposite end. They were playing battleship, and I couldn't help but giggle. "Don't you mean I- 'destroyed' your destroyer?" Jade replied, which resulted in Lloyd throwing a small red marker piece at the forward. "Good morning you two." I chuckled, sitting down the food before standing back up, sliding my hands into my hoodie pocket. "Morning." Scarlet yawned with a drowsy smile, then Carli doing the same. We spoke for a few, then Carli said goodbye and that she'd come by soon to check in, then left. I sat down in the recliner as I took my cup of coffee, sipping it before positioning myself to face her. She was eating the bagel I had brought for her, while watching the morning news. It was around 7:30, and she was oddly awake. There was still major bruising within her body, but she seemed to be doing well. After maybe 20 minutes of talking, the nurse came in and gave Scarlet her daily medication, along with some pain killers. Soon.... The pain killers kicked in.

I had put on "Mr. Rogers" and I lay kicked back in the recliner with Scarlet just next to me in her bed. The door was closed, the curtains closed, and the lights off. After a short time of watching it, I began a conversation. "Too bad the show ended." Jade turned to me with a confused expression. "Why'd it end?" She asked. "Mr.Rogers dies, and now lives in heaven." I chuckled, realizing the medication may be effecting the forward. "Nooot..... He lives in the neighborhood!" She replied back, and I found myself bursting into laughter. I facepalmed, then attempted to move onto the next topic. "Scarlet, what are some of the best things you learned from your mother?" I asked, and I let out a sigh of relief to see her actually giving thought to it. "Hmm... 1. She told me if I climbed the tree and broke my neck, I couldn't go to the store with her. 2, always accept the challenge of, "Don't talk back to me, answer me when I'm talking to you." And 3, when the lawn mower chops off my toes, don't go running to her." As Scar explained, I found myself gasping for air as she legit had me crying from laughter. Suddenly, her facial expression changed from happy to serious. And that made me laugh too. "Hope, has your computer accepted Jesus yet?" She asked, and I burst into laughter once more before asking, "What do you mean?" I calmed down enough for her to explain. "Well, last week I was typing an email, and for some reason it wanted said Jesus was spelled wrong. So I right clicked and made it accept Jesus. I haven't had any problems from it since. I think you should try it." I found myself laughing so hard, no laughs escaped my mouth at all. "Hope! ALL COMPUTER LIVES MATTER. WHAT THE DELL IS WRONG WITH YOU. DON'T YOU KNOW WHEN IT'S HP IS LOW!? GIVE IT AN APPLE OR SOMETHING. TOSHIBA."

And that was how I spent day 2 of Scarlet in the hospital. Almost dying of laughter.
