This is my own little fanfic, placing my character in the midst of the USWNT. I'm actually a huge USWNT fan, but I'm not the most active person. So what better way to play with them then to write about it! Hope you enjoy, and also. Don't let the emotions get the best of you.... Scarlet Jade has just been through it all. She's really struggling. But when she finds a letter hidden in the remains of her things. A letter from her father. At this point, she already knows she lost it all, so why not try something new. Not expecting to get drafted, she is actually taken into the team, and it really shapes her, into who she was meant to be. (No shipping, sorry!)

The past should never be repeated. It was a fact learned through history. Leah Williamson had just closed out the summer of her life. She's been a young captain in charge of leading England to a European win, and she'd done just that. She was someone the nation adored. Danielle Cruz used to be America's sweetheart. That was until she spent a year in rehab and six months in prison. She fell from grace and was now facing the consequences of her fall. Dani was given a second chance by the United States head coach, but is still finding herself falling into old habits. Habits that were caused by a traumatic childhood and painful past. Nervous and trying to find her footing, Dani is taken in by her old club, and has to adjust to the reintroduction she didn't expect. Afterall, she was trying to heal and clean herself up. Questions began to make her spiral. Why wouldn't they help her? Why wouldn't the team that knew her so well try to understand her and who she was? Why wouldn't the one she loved hear her out and maybe even love her again? But in all, the both of them were nervous to face a painful history. History they both loved; history they both wished never happened. History that lead straight back to her.
