About a week of training passed, and we were on our way to California where we'd have our first game. I sat in the back of the bus, on the left side. Just behind me was Kelley and Morgan Brian, in front of me sat Carli. Just across from me was Hope, and then Alex and Tobin sat infront of her. Kelley and I were having a competition, to see who's joke got the most laughs in the bus. It was Kelley's turn.

"What did the Buffalo, say to his kid as they left for college. BISON!" Kelley yelled, and everyone kind of chuckled, including me.

"Oh goodness... Kelley. Listen. There's a difference between being shit and being THE shit." I said, and everyone kind of laughed. "Okay okay. What did the goat say when he woke up on a bus? I don't even know how I GOAT here!" I yelled as I gave Hope the gunner hands and a goofy smile. Everyone started laughing, and Tobin boo'd me as she threw a bottle of water at me. I laughed and opened it, before taking a drink. "Agh, this water smells weird." I said, putting my nose to the cap.

"What? No way. I just bought that, let me smell." Alex said, leaning over the isle. I offered her the water bottle, and she lowered her nose to the cap. Suddenly Tobin reached around and grabbed my hand tightly, making me squeeze the bottle. Water flew into Alex's face, and everyone erupted with laughter. I opened my mouth as I made a silent laugh, watching as Alex dropped her jaw, with water dripping off her face. Hope handed her a towel and grabbed the water, then glanced at me.

"Hope, think about the consequences!" I laughed, putting my hands in front of me. Carli turned around and was laughing, then suddenly cold water was poured down the back of my sweatshirt. I screeched as I stood up, stumbling into the isle as I squealed. Carli and poured her own water down my shirt, and everyone continued to laugh. The bus then harshly braked so suddenly, I found my self falling into the laps of Alex and Tobin.

"Come here often?" I asked, giggling as I wiggled my eyebrows at Alex, then she pushed me off with laughter and I flopped into the isle. The bus then sped up randomly, and I watched as Pinoe dropped her bottle of water up at the front of the bus on purpose. It rolled quickly and smacked into my head.

"AAH!" I half yelled half laughed, as the plastic collided with my forehead. I got the idea to act hurt, and see if I couldn't counter attack someone. I curled up on my side in the isle, holding my face as I also hid the water bottle. "Ouch....!" I whimpered, adding a little to my act.

"Okay okay time out." Moe said, getting up from the back seat as her, Carli and Hope all leaned over the seat to check on me.

"Did it hit your nose?" Hope asked, as I felt one of her hands rest on my arm facing up.

"Yeah I think so... Is it bruised?" I asked, as I slowly sat up. Perfect chance, all of them leaned over to check on me, then I realized something. The bridge of my nose did actually hurt, and I realized blood was dripping from my nostrils. I then realized, the water bottle hadn't caused this... It was my sickness flaring up once again.

"Hey hey easy." Carli said, her voice going a bit more serious as I let her help me up, and steadied me on the moving bus. Alex handed me the towel Hope had given her, and I put it to my nose with a nod of my head as if to say 'thanks.' I went back to my seat, and slumped down with my back against the window. I let my head lay back against the window, closing my eyes as Kelley and Moe both leaned forward on the seats, checking on me. Hope also was sitting the closest to the isle, all of them worried. Suddenly the bus hit a bump, and my head made a loud "thud" as it hit against the window.

"Owww..." I grunted, scrunching my nose as I lifted my free hand to the back of my head, chuckles escaping my mouth.

"Poor thing." Hope chuckled softly, as she came and sat next to me. She put her arm around me and let me rest my head on her shoulder, then jokingly pet my head.
