After my hormonal imbalance with Grey earlier, I finally decided to knock on his door. I waited for a minute without an answer. He's probably out somewhere, as I turned I noticed a small white paper shoved into the crack in his door.
"To anybody who isn't Rina I'm not home right now."
I smiled and turned the paper over as the small arrow indicated.
"Why are you still reading this you know where I am!"
I went back into my apartment and out the window. Once i got to the roof I went to the opposite side and stood next to Grey.
"So, do you still have your period or are we good now?"
I shoved him.
"Do you know how to be polite? I mean honestly, how could you possibly be this comfortable with me already?"
He laughed and shrugged.
"You just give off this, I don't know like a vibe."
"I give off a vibe? Great, now I'm going to have all these voodoo ladies coming in screaming, 'the vibe the vibe!"
This made him laugh even harder.
"No extra company tonight Greyson?"
"Nah, I traded easy for hard to get."
He said nudging my shoulder.
"I'm not playing hard to get. Maybe I don't like you."
I joked.
"We'll then what are you doing on this roof?"
I turned to him.
"You tell me."
He met my gaze then quickly turned away.
"Look at that skyline."
He said pointing.
"What about it?"
"Close your eyes, turn around three times then stop and look."
I did so and wound up looking out to what looked like one of the parks. I pointed to the spot where I looked. Grey smiled.
"What about it?"
I asked.
"That's where we're going."
He turned toward the escape and I followed.
"Why are going there?"
"Because we can. There's probably something meaningful there."
I gave a weird look to myself going down the escape.
"Why would there be something meaningful there?"
I asked.
"There's something meaningful everywhere we look. Some people just can't find it."
I accepted his reason and continued following him down. We climbed in through his window and I went to grab a sweatshirt and my sneakers. I stopped and turned around at his door.
"Wow.. You really do keep this place clean."
I said swiping my finger across a stand he had, no dust. Grey laughed and nodded.
"If you ever hear grey out on the streets from a females mouth, they probably aren't talking about the shade."
I rolled my eyes and went into my apartment. I was hurrying along when my phone started to ring. I sighed at reading the ID.
