I woke up the weekend after school started and pulled the heavy blankets off of my wobbly sleep legs. I stood and went out to the hall to wake Grey. He left me a note.

"Rina just let me sleep."

I went back into my apartment and sat on the couch bored. I got up to eat food but I have none! I left a note on my own door letting Grey know I'm shopping. Not that he'll care anyway. As of the late he's gone back to parting and stupid shit like that. Not that I can blame him I mean I did kiss him three times then I'm sure he expected another kiss after I got home and instead I absolutely dropped his lips. Almost literally. I drove to the grocery store and shopped. I decided to make it a full on shopping trip. I eventually made my way to a mall and bought myself a few things and Grey a bracelet I thought of him when I seen and I bought Lucas Wren a necklace I liked. I sat down at a coffee shop and sipped at an iced frappe coffee thing. I like it iced despite the cold because it's just like my soul. Joking.

"Hey lady."

A girl called walking up to me. I stared up at her.

"Can I help you?"

"Yeah you're in my seat lady I need you to move."

I stared up at her my inquiry evident on my face. She did one of those shrugs that said, 'what are you waiting for?'

"Alright hon. For one never call me lady. Two I'd be glad to share the table with you but I refuse to move. Have a seat."

She glared but sat down anyway. She fiddled with stuff and ordered herself the same thing as me.

"What's your name?"

She demanded.

"I'm Rina nice to meet you."

I extended my hand but when she stared at it I pulled it away.

"Clarrise Nordburgh. I guess it's nice to meet you. I usually stay away from people though and I won't touch you, I don't know where you've been."

I smiled at her openness and chuckled a little.

"You're a germophobe and yet you live in New York City? Why would you curse yourself in such a way?"

She shrugged.

"Maybe I'm insane. Maybe I just lied because I don't want to touch you because you gross me out."

I cocked my eyebrow.

"If you're trying to be rude enough so that I'll move it isn't going to work."

She shook her head.

"You shouldn't be sitting in my seat if you think I'm being so rude. I think you're rude."

"Let me guess. You have a crush on the boy that works over at that store and you need to sit here because you're too afraid to talk to him so staring at him is enough for now."

She was rendered speechless. She blushed and looked down.

"Seriously you're freaky. Most people would just curse at me and walk away not evaluate the situation."

I smiled and stared at her.

"Dude you're weird."

I chuckled at her attempted insult and sipped at my coffee. I stood and she stood.

"I'll most likely see you again. Maybe don't be a bitch next time?"

I said.

"Maybe don't sit in my seat next time."

I walked away and out to my car intruegued by the rude girl inside. I drove home and went all the way up to my apartment over and over with bags and bags of sustenance and clothing. Again nobody helped me and again as I trudged with the last load I rounded a corner and slammed into a hard tall body.
