Keaton, Kaylee, Wes, and I were walking home from school. We were telling stories about each other.

"So, one time, Kaylee randomly says to me, 'I think Wes is cute. Do you?' and I just couldn't even deal with her," I said.

Wes and Keaton laughed. Kaylee was blushing.

"Keaton, when you were dating Stephanie, I went over to Chloe and asked her if you had broken up with Steph yet, and she was like, 'No, I wish!' and then she put her hand over her mouth, because she revealed that she liked you," Kaylee said, laughing.

My turn to blush.

"I did something like that. I was talking to my friend, and Chloe, you walked by, and I was saying something to myself about you, but I said it a little too loud, and my friend heard me and was like, 'So you like Chloe? Then why are you going out with her sister?' It was really stupid of me," Keaton said.

"Oh my god, I overheard some of that!" Kaylee said.

"Oh, so you were eavesdropping? How rude," Keaton replied, sarcastically.

"Okay, new subject. What should we do this afternoon?" Wes asked.

"How about this: play us some songs," Kaylee suggested.

"That sounds good to me," Keaton said.

"Yeah, we should do that," I added.

"Alright, cool," Wes said.

We continued past my house and headed to the Stromberg's. Once we got there, we went straight to the basement. Kaylee's face was priceless, as she had never seen it before.

"This is so cool!" Kaylee exclaimed.

"Wait until you see this," Wes said, leading her to the recording studio. Her jaw dropped when she looked inside. Keaton and I just laughed.

Wes brought the Macbook out of the studio and set it on the floor. We all sat down. He played song called "Say What You Mean." It was really good! I really liked the first line of the chorus, which was, "Say what you mean, mean what you say."

"Wow, that was awesome!" Kaylee and I said in unison. I laughed.

"Do something live!" Kaylee said.

Wes and Keaton went over and got their guitars, and then sat down on schools. "This is called 'Tequila Sunrise'," Wes said. They started playing their guitars. Wes had the lead vocals.

"You guys are seriously in trouble for not doing this earlier," Kaylee said, obviously joking. "Do you have any other songs?"

"Not right now, we only have an incomplete song, and we'd need Drew here anyway," Keaton said.

"Keaton, you have a couple..." Wes said.

"I wanna hear!" Kaylee said.

"Play that one you showed me. The Simple Life," I said.

"Alright," Keaton said, pulling up iTunes on the laptop. He played 'The Simple Life' for Kaylee. It was an amazing song. I really liked it.

"You guys need to be recognized for all of this talent," I said.

"Oh yeah, about that, we forgot to tell you guys that we're auditioning for The X Factor over the summer!" Wes said.

"You guys will win for sure," Kaylee said.

"We've got our hopes up," Keaton said.
