Kaylee and I were on the bus to L.A. Since neither of us could drive, this was our only option, since our parents refused to drive us. However, they were letting us stay overnight. The bad part was that we had to be back by lunchtime the next day.

The bus came to a stop. We got off.

"So, now where do we go?" Kaylee asked.

"Well, we should probably find a hotel," I said. "There's one right there, let's go."

We walked across the street to a hotel. We booked a room for the night. We put our things in our room. We stopped at the front desk on the way out.

"Excuse me, do you have any idea where The X Factor stages are located from here?" I asked the woman.

"They're actually right down the street. Take a left out of here, and go onto the first street on your left. You should be all set," she explained.

"Thank you," I replied. We left the hotel and walked to the studio. There was just a security guard outside. We showed him our tickets and went in. First, we found our seats, which were near the front. There was a half hour until show time, so we decided to go backstage.

We found the entrance. Once again, there was a security guard. We told him we were there for Emblem3, and he let us in. I instantly spotted the guys over by a stack of speakers. We ran over to them. They turned around. Keaton pulled me in for a hug. "I missed you so much!" I exclaimed.

"I missed you too! I'm so glad you guys could make it," he replied.

Five girls came over, who I instantly recognized as Fifth Harmony.

"Hey guys. Who are your friends?" Ally, one of the girls, asked.

"This is Kaylee and Chloe," Drew replied. "Girls, meet Fifth Harmony."

"Oh, you guys are the famous ones we've heard all about! It's so nice to meet you," Lauren said, smiling.

"We'll leave you guys to catch up. Nice meeting you!" Camilla said. They walked away.

"So, how's Huntington?" Wes asked.

"Same old, except three people are missing," Kaylee replied. They laughed.

"Unfortunately. I miss home so much," Keaton said.

"Are you guys leaving after the show?" Drew asked.

"No, we're staying overnight and leaving tomorrow. We have to be home by lunchtime," I explained.

"Good, we have time to hang," Wes said.

Wes, Kaylee, and Drew started having a conversation. I turned to Keaton. "What song are you guys doing tonight?"

"That is classified information," he replied, letting out a small laugh. "You'll find out soon enough, though. I think you'll like it."

"Two minutes, all acts to the stage!" a tech crew member yelled.

"That's our cue. We'll see you guys after the show," Keaton said.

"Good luck, guys," I said. Kaylee and I went back to our seats.

The results were the most nerve-wracking part of the show. Emblem3 and Diamond White were the only two acts left onstage. This couldn't be the end. They had worked much too hard to go home so soon.

"The final act going through tonight, is..." Mario, the host, said. I crossed my fingers. "Emblem3!"

I instantly jumped up and cheered. Kaylee did the same. The guys looked so happy. Keaton's eyes met mine. He grinned at me. I gave him two thumbs up. The show ended, and the guys went backstage. We went back there and practically tackled them with our hugs.
