Having a hangover the next day was so not worth it. I mean, I look like a mess. A beautiful mess.

Aimee took me to her home after we partied, we realized that after the incident we all wanted to go home.

My head ached as I move around Aimee's room, she was still sprawled on her bed snoring softly.

Wait a minute, what happened last night?

I remembered being with a hot guy who got all touchy with me and Fin intervening. There was Aimee and her surprise. Rhett punching that same guy. Them being escorted by the bouncers.

My head ached some more. Ugh, I'm never gonna drink again.

"Why are you so up and about early this morning Gorg?" Aimee groaned.

"My head aches so bad." I said. "Then go back to sleep." She commanded, yawning sleepily.

I went over to her, "I should have told you earlier to avoid this nuisance."

Her ears perked, and opened her eyes, "Should have told me what?" She's now fully awake, sitting up.

"Rhett and I had a talk. He asked me if I like him, and I said yes more than a friend. He said he also like me but as a friend only." I explained.

Aimee's shocked face was hilarious, I snapped my fingers infront of her. "Aims." I called.

"The world must be ending if he rejected you!" She exclaimed, shaking my shoulders.

"I know Aims! I know! Prepare for the apocalypse!" I chimed in making both of us giggle.

She stopped giggling then looked serious for a moment.

"What's with that face?" I inquired. Then her look softened a bit.

"Are you okay though?" She asked back worriedly.

That question silenced me for a while. "I don't know Aims. This is the first time I felt something towards someone and that someone doesn't like me back."

"You know what? There's something fishy about him not liking you back. The way he looks at you last night says otherwise." She stated.

"And why would he punch that guy if he doesn't have any feelings for you? When that guy bothered you, Fin only threatened him and did not punch him." She added, analyzing the situation.

I just shrugged. "Fin is gay Aims, of course he wouldn't punch that guy. And Rhett-well he's Rhett. I think he has a hero complex. Remember the pre-acquaintance party? He came to my rescue! Then when I sprained my ankle. That time before we had our talk, he punched another guy. And now, last night at Blue Monkey." I said, recounting the times Rhett rescued me.

"That's exactly my point!" Aimee exclaimed, as if she's having a eureka moment. "If his actions doesn't show you that he likes you, I don't know what does. Action speaks louder than words."

I dismissed her, trying to prevent myself from hoping. "He has a hero complex, I tell you. That's all."

He clearly said he like me as a friend.

"Believe what he does for you, not what he tells you." Aimee said stubbornly. "I know I have no sense in fashion, but I'm not blind Gorg. I see the way he treats you, and I'm telling you he likes you more than as a friend."

I slumped back to bed, damn this headache.
