The journey down the tunnel was uneventful. The torches returned after 50 or so blocks. They group took several breaks, wondering when they would reach the exit.

Finally, they reached a ladder leading up to a trapdoor.

"Well," Tim shrugged up his pack, "This is the end of the line."

Mitch gave him a look. "Did you have to make a pun?"

"Yep." Replied Tim as he climbed up the ladder. 

Pushing open the trapdoor, he climbed out. Jojo followed him. They came up in a small room. Exiting it, they startled a man sitting at a small desk.

"What the... What were you doing down there?!" He stood up. "Don't you know this tunnel is closed?"

Tim stepped forward. "There was no sign on the other side." He replied calmly

"Go on though. Make sure to check the tunnels on your way back!" The man turned away, muttering about paperwork.Tim led the way out of the building. Outside, a shorter man jumped out at them.

"On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your experie...." The little man was cut short be Tim backhanding him.

"Get lost Phil." Tim watched as Phil scrambled away, yelling 'Sorry!'. Tim turned to look at the group. "that." He began, "Was Phil. He jumps everyone exiting the tracks, trying to get them to rate their trip. Don't ask me why."

"So which way are we going?" Sky asked as he looked around.

"I think the better question is, what are we going to do?" Ian walked to the front of the group.

They all looked at each other. Sky spoke up first. 

"We should find a restaurant to get some food."

Tim grinned. "I know the perfect restaurant."

As they sat down. Tim went up to order drinks.

"Here you go."He handed everyone bright red drinks.

As they started sipping the drinks, Ian repeated his earlier question.

"So what are we going to do?"

"We should find a way home." Sky said.

Jojo shook his head. "How? We don't know where the machine is even is. Also...."

Sky looked at him. "Also what?"

"You want to go fight Herobrine, Don't you?"

Jojo looked at Mitch in surprise. Then he nodded slowly. "The reason I designed the machine was to call us when there is a time of need. This is a time of need."

Tim started laughing. "You can't be serious. You might not know this, but Herobrine has leveled entire cities when he wanted to, He would squash you in two seconds."

Mitch looked at TIm. "I, personally, agree with Jojo. Herobrine needs to be stopped."

Tim looked at them like they were crazy. "You can't be serious. Ian, What's your opinion?"

Ian looke between Mitch and Tim. He opened his mouth to reply.

Suddenly the building shook, and the windows shattered.

"Earthquake!!!!" Sky yelled.

Tim scowled. "I wish." He pulled a glowing iron sword from his bag. "That," he said. "Is Herobrine."

A/N: Mwa-ha-ha!! I feel so evil. sorry for the cliff hanger.
