Makayla's P.O.V
After Damian's little speech we went inside so I could see what he had done. First was the living room, the large windows went from the floor to the high ceilings. The floors where a light hard wood, there was a large cream colored sectional in the middle of the floor with a white rug in front of it. The decorative pillows on the couch were a light green and so were the little decorations around the room. The picture frames held the pictures Lucy had taken at the dinner the night we got home. There was a fireplace in the back with a rug in front of it and it had a few dolls in a basket beside it
"What do you think?" He asks and sounds kind of nervous
"Wait, did you really decorate?" I ask kind of shocked, his room was all black. This couldn't have been him
"Yeah. I thought the black wouldn't have been very welcoming. The kitchen is this way" He leads me into the kitchen and I gasp. It's beautiful and I have everything to bake with. The white floors, black island and cabinets. the counters are black and white marble, all the appliances were black and the stools around the island were white. The curtains were a light green like in the living room. It was my new favorite place
"I'll show you the kid's rooms next. There is a staircase in the kitchen that leads to the second floor and it overlooks the living room. More pictures line the hallway and we enter the first room, Lily's. The full size bed is covered in a hot pink blanket and pink, white, and purple pillows. There is a white drape hanging from the ceiling around the head of the bed. There are big pictures of all the disney princess on the walls and the walls are a light purple. There is a huge dollhouse in the corner with all the furniture and dolls inside it. And a white dresser sitting on the other side of the room with a tv sitting on it and the pink letters spelling out princess on the wall above the dresser
"I can't believe you did all of this" I say looking around the room in awe
"well the dollhouse was Lucy's idea. She came through after I was finished and helped add what she thought was missing. She helped the most with Dj's room because I didn't know everything we would need for a baby" He chuckles "That's not exactly something in my strengths category" I grab his hand and look up at him
"We'll be learning together Damian. I mean I guess I have some experience from little ones in the family but I don't know everything yet" I say and he smiles down at me
"I'm so glad I get to take this journey with you. Let's go see Dj's room" He says and we walk into the room next to Lily's and I aww out loud. It's jungle themed. The walls are a light green with cartoonish trees, vines, and monkeys painted on them. The white crib is against the back wall with vines hanging around it. The bed set has little monkeys on it and there are brown letters spelling out Damian Jr. above the crib. There is a white changing table on one of the other walls with a light green changing mat and bins. On the other wall is a little white dresser and in the middle of the floor is a brown rug and little rattles and small baby toys laying on it. There is a bouncy seat, a swing, a boppy, and a few other things for him scattered over the floor. It's the best nursery I have ever seen
"This is incredible Damian. The little monkeys are too adorable" I say and look up to see him staring down at me "What?"
"You're just so beautiful and I love seeing you this happy" He says "I saved the best for last, our room" We walk out of Dj's room and turn the corner to the short hallway leading to big beautiful wooden doors "I did this completely alone" He says motioning around the hallway and the doors.
The little hallway has white christmas lights around the top and big pictures that were captured when he proposed. There were little vases mounted in between the pictures that held real roses. I'm already mesmerized and he hasn't even shown me the room yet.
Just then he opens the doors and I put my hand over my mouth, it's gorgeous. There is a huge window in the ceiling and the right wall is nothing but a window overlooking the lake. There is a small black lounge chair facing the window. The king size bed is against the back wall with huge letters spelling out Love above the headboard. There are two glass nightstands beside the bed, one on each side and a small black seat at the foot of the bed. The bedding is black and white and the curtains are black. There is a large white rug where the lounge chair is and I can now see a glass table sitting in front of it. There is a long black dresser on the left side of the room and a small bassinet beside the left side of the bed with a little monkey stuffie sitting inside it.
"This is... Damian, I don't know what to say" I whisper looking around again and back to the bed
"There is more." He points to two doors on the left side. One on each side of the dresser "The right is our closet and the left is the bathroom" He says letting go of my hand and motioning me to them. I walk to the left first and open it to see the most amazing bathroom I have ever seen. There is a large jacuzzi bathtub in the back and a stand up shower to the right. The left is a long counter with two sinks and has all of our stuff set up on it. In the corner is a shelf with towels and rags. Two robes are hung beside the door
"I swear Damian, this is better than I could have ever imagined" I feel him stand behind me and wrap his arms around my waist
"Lucy has the kids, we could always try out the tub before we go pick them up to bring them home" He says and I smile before turning my head to look up at him
