The next day came along and when I woke, pillows, blankets, and clothes were everywhere. Fucking hell, I need to clean this house. Actually, me AND J need to clean this house.
I got out of bed and put on one of his button ups and some panties and looked in the mirror. If I cared, I'd brush my hair. Instead, I put on a pair of J's socks to warm my feet up. When I walked downstairs, J was watching the news on the couch. I walked over to him and he handed me a cup of coffee and stood up.
"What are we going to do today?" He asked while stretching. He wore his Arkham sweatpants and I died at the absence of his shirt.
"We shall clean! The house is a mess and I cannot take it anymore." J sent me a weird look and looked around the house.
"Happy wife, happy life." I laughed as he went on, getting some cleaning supplies from our closet. The tv had Pandora so I turned that on and blasted some music.
I started cleaning the dishes, which of course we're just silverware because we use plastic plates, bowls, and cups; then I took out the trash. J swept and mopped downstairs while I went upstairs to clean the bathroom.
Joker came upstairs once I was cleaning the tub and looked at me, scrubbing on my knees. His laughs filled the room and I threw the scrubber on the ground and moved my hair out of my face. "Is there something you'd like to discuss, bud?" His eyes were fixed on me and I smiled, not being able to help myself.
"You're the intriguing thing I've ever laid eyes on. I never thought I'd love anyone. I am crazy, ya know?" I picked the scrubber up again and watched as he walked to the room, picking up the dirty laundry.
"Honestly, if you weren't so crazy, I don't think we would be able to work out. I, fucking insane." I heard him laugh and I moved on to the mirror. It was a mess with green and purple hair everywhere and tooth paste and all kinds of shaving shit all around. Sometime, I can never understand how two people could be so dirty.
Joker walked downstairs to throw things in the laundry and I looked down at my hand, admiring the ring. I'm so happy I watched him like a crazy lady. Otherwise, I'd probably be dead or alone in some weird house.
After cleaning the mirror area, I walked downstairs. Once again, Joker sat and watched the News. He's so cute when he watches the news and nothing else. Such a weird hobby.
I plopped on the couch and looked at him. His tattoos were so amazing to me. He doesn't wear makeup anymore but his lips stained red and his skin stayed pale. The way his cheekbones and jawline were so defined made me e joy the manly figure in front of my eyes.
Jokers booming voice interrupted my thoughts. "Want to get married in a month?" What a nice question to ask in the middle of nowhere.
"Yeah, sure. I need to plan some things, though. And you do too. Like.... Venue, food, and guests. I have to do dress, flowers, and colour scheme." He nodded and turned to face the tv again. I'm guessing Bruce was having a party. Next month.... "J is that our venue?" The smile on his face said it all.
I watched as he got up, more than happy to explain his plan. "Oh, but wouldn't it be sweet? Just amazing, my love. Crashing a party in a statement of crazy, stupid, mad love and having everyone watch us say our vows. Batman will be crushed, too. He would have thong we were there to kill him but really, it's all about us. It's always about us." He paced as he told me his plan. "And we already have food, guests, and a venue. All you'll need is a dress and flowers. Don't we need a priest guy? Does it still count if there is no God to us? It doesn't matter. I'm trying to get legally married." I stood up and grabbed his face in my hands.
"Yes, my crazy man. We need a priest to make this legal. I'd love to crash Bruce's party. That is the best wedding plan I could ask for." He kissed me, making a 'mwah' sound and dipping me to the ground.
"Well, I want to go out. Want to go out?" After I asked, I knew the answer. Of course he can't go out. He has to stay inside at all times. I can easily be disguised.
He didn't get upset though. I watched him get excited. "Go out. Find a dress and get some people to help you get ready for this. Find some cake and bring it home. I have a sweet tooth for more than just you. Goodbye!" I waved to him as I ran upstairs to put some pants on. Once I did that, I climbed out the window and to my white motorcycle.
Bruce met me up at a bridal shop. I needed a friend to help me pick out a dress. When I got there, it took him about ten minutes more to show up. The lady was started to get concerned.
He walked over to me and we hugged. "Nice shirt. You may have so,e bullet residue on your shoulder, though." We laughed and he brushed it off as the lady came over.
"Mr. Wayne! How lovely to see you! Is this a friend or more?" Bruce blushed and hugged the lady.
"Just a friend. Who does in fact need help to get a dress for her wedding that is in a month. Would you be so kind to get her a dress?" The way he spoke with such charm made him seem like even more of a ladies man than usual.
She took my hand and walked over to a dressing area. "What are you looking for?" Hmm, this is an easy question, to be honest.
"I've always wanted a beautiful puffy, long dress. With a sweet heart top." The lady nodded and left me for a moment.
There was a huge platform and a mirror that I could see my whole body in. Bruce came in and sat down in a chair, holding wine and glasses. I smiled as he poured one and handed me a glass. Soon after, the lady came back and had about five dresses on a rack for me to look through. They were all so beautiful and I didn't know how I would pick.I grabbed one and put it on, with some help. When I walked outside and looked in the mirror, I didn't know if I liked what I saw. "I'm going to have to say no. This looked better off than it did on." Laughter filled the room as I walked back to go change.
This dress was better. "That one is so beautiful on you. Very elegant and bright. Helps show off your curves, as well." I looked over to Bruce and smiled. He's got a way with words, I can't lie. This one would definitely be an option.
The third dress was okay and the fourth was just like the first. However, the last one.... it was the one. When I stepped out, I almost burst into tears. It made me feel like a Queen.
The lady came over and held onto my hands as we jumped up and down. "God this is all so real and wow! I just can't wait to get married. This dress is so beautiful! Bruce, do you think I should get this one?" When I looked over to him, his eyes were glistening. Clearly, he liked it.
"If this is the one you want, I will fully support that. This is just absolutely beautiful on you. Go ahead and I'll pay for it today." My mouth dropped and tears finally came out. I rushed over to Bruce, engulfing him in a tight hug while screaming a bunch of joyful things in his ear. We pulled back and smiled and I rushed into the dressing room, getting dressed and putting the dress back in its bag.
We bought the dress and I went to his car. As much as I hated it, I had to go home through him. This dress wasn't going to fit in my lack of trunk. Hopefully, Joker wouldn't see.
And he didn't! Matter of fact, he was asleep and covered in papers for wedding information. I put my dress in a closet and laid on top of him. He didn't even wake up and I laughed at how much of a heavy sleeper he was.
It didn't take long before I was asleep. Today was busy and a dream come true.
