Noel and Harry made their own Christmas adventures as everybody spent time in the other side of the house. They rekindled their friendship and all was going extremely well.

"Oh my gosh! And then I tripped on my own feet and-" Noel couldn't keep her straight face on any longer as she saw that Harry looked like he was going to burst any moment. "You idiot, stop laughing. I've known you long enough to know that you've tripped on your feet a plenty number of times." They stopped laughing for a mere moment, but that ended quite quickly.

They both fell to the ground, not even trying to contain their obnoxious and childish giggles in any longer. As the laughter died down, they lay side by side while looking at Harry's white ceilings. They had feelings of déjà vu right at that very moment.

"Remember when we used to laugh so hard that we fell to the ground just like this?" she asked as a small, secret smile creeping on her face. Harry nodded, not moving from his spot. "That was only a year ago. But why does it feel like so long?" Nobody spoke, trying to find an answer to that impossible question. The thing was, they had no clue.

"I feel like something changed," she quietly whispered.

Harry heard the hurt in her voice and tried to change things once again. "But hey, now we're together again. Just like old times. And if I'm correct, we usually watch a loads of cheesy Christmas movies during this time."

_____

"Blankets?"

"Check."

"Food?"

"Check."

"Working T.V. and DVD's?"

"Check and check."

"Okay, now we're ready.

_____

The next few hours were filled with using Eenie-Meenie-Miney-Mo to help choose movies, fighting over who got the last bits of food, and playing Rock-Paper-Scissors to see who would be responsible for sneaking more while the guests were still infiltrating the kitchen.

"You know what we need to do?" Harry asked, with a devious smile.

"Sneak out to stores and steal food?" Noel asked with dry humor.

He shook his head, "Nope. That does sound like something pretty cool though. But guess again."

"I hate guessing," she mumbled to herself. After thinking for a few moments, her facial expression seemed as if she got hit in the face. "Journals?"

"Journals."

Noel walked to her bag to get hers. "You still have yours, right?" she asked Harry, surprised to see that he was holding it right in front of her. She thought that he would've lost it by now, which wouldn't surprise anybody. There were even moments in previous years where they spent almost an hour to find Harry's journal because he misplaced it.

Harry looked at her in fake hurt and disbelief, gasping dramatically. "Of course I would have it! Who do you think I am?"

_____

As they were writing in complete silence for more than ten minutes with the background sound of the guests being the only thing disturbing how quiet it was, both Noel and Harry caught slight writer's block every now and then.

"So, are we going to read these out loud to each other?" Noel asked Harry as she finished writing her last sentence.

He shook his head, finishing whatever he wanted to write. "I think that once we fill up the journal, then we can read them to each other. It can be kind of like a Christmas present to each other. Deal?"

She shook his hand, sealing the deal. "Oh, and don't forget that we need to take photos with each other."

Harry quickly grabbed a polaroid camera from his desk. "It's my mom's. She won't notice it for a while. I think she's too occupied with her little reunion with friends," he said, reading Noel's confused facial expression.

They snapped at least five together and split them it half, putting them in the journals.
"Thanks for not forgetting this," she told him with a genuine smile on her face.

Harry shook his head and smiled back as they walked out of his room to help the others in the house with whatever they were doing. "I can't forget my Christmases with you, even if I wanted to. It's just not physically possible for me," he smiled.

And after that moment, both of them forgot about the time they were separated and focused on the time they had together.
