Noel:

December 25, 2017

Dear journal,

Today was a whirlwind. Actually, that is a complete understatement. Today was the day that I felt as if my heart was about to jump out of my chest and run out the window like a coward. That wording sounds better.

All in all: Harry is officially my boyfriend.

Even though my feelings have had a long time to develop, I never imagined that we would be in an actual relationship other than our friendship.

But when he kissed me it felt so right. (That sounds so cliché, ugh.)

I'm not complaining when I say that everything took me by surprise and went so fast. I'm just afraid that things went so fast that he and I would just crash and burn.

However, let's not focus on that. Let's focus on the fact that I'm in a relationship with a guy who is my soulmate.

Dear journal,

I did it. I really did it. I finally kissed Noel. And guess what? She kissed me back.

I've never felt that happy in any moment of my life that I've experienced. This sounds so slushy, but I have truly loved her ever since I could remember. She is just this warm, fuzzy ball of light that makes me smile every time we talk.

But can you believe that almost everyone bet on when and who would make the first move? Gotta love them all.
