Sup, Mamcorns?
Today’s rants “Ahem, discussion, ahem* is on the subject of NORMAL-NESS.
Who decided what normal is? Is there a specific thing that we can call “normal”?
The word ‘normal’ implies that everything that isn’t it must be strange/weird/unnatural.
To put it bluntly, I HATE THAT DAMN WORD.
As you may be able to tell, this is a touchy subject for me.
As one of my best friends likes to say, “Normalness leads to depression and depression is a big black dog (IT SAID SO ON YOUTUBE)”
Yes, because she is awesome like that!
You know what words are better than ‘normal’? How about “Special” and “Unique.”
AND YOU KNOW WHAT I LIKE BEING UNIQUE.
Everyone is different. No one is there same.
SO IF WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT AND ONE PERSON IS CLASSED AS ‘NORMAL’ IT MEANS THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD THAT IS.
Never thought about it that way, have ya?
Now my head hurts O.o
Unique is awesome. Unique means that unlike everyone else you aren’t a sheep.
(AND YES I JUST USED ‘SHEEP’ AS AN INSULT, DEAL WITH IT!)
It means that you don’t desperately want to ‘fit in’ with whoever is ‘it.’ (POPULAR PEOPLE ETC...)
And I will admit it, I once tried to be ‘normal.’
IT WAS THE WORST HOUR OF MY LIFE :P
Don’t try to hide who you are. Maybe you’re not normal, SO WHAT? Why try to hide that?
(WORD OF ADVICE, IT NEVER WORKS ANYWAY!)
And as some smart lyrics say,
“You can't hide it you might as well embrace it.”
And so, in this rant, AS YES IT WAS A RANT, I have managed to insult you by possibly calling you a sheep and throwing Sum41 lyrics in your face..........
I REGRET NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want you all now to look at the picture on the side. GO LOOK AT IT. RIGHT NOW. Because this picture has a deep meaning, and does that one unique ball look happy to you?
YOU BET IT DOES.
And If some A-Hole calls you weird, don’t get insulted. After reading this do you still think that’s actually an insult?
*IF SO THEN I FAILED :(*
Anyway, just smile at them and say “Thank You.” And walk away with that smile still in place.
....AND MAYBE STICK YOUR MIDDLE FINGER UP AT THEM >:D
And so I shall end this fine form of intelligence with a phrase that I hope you will think of whenever you hear that Fuc-Freaking word ‘Normal’..
“Why would you want to be a cheerio when you could be a FRUIT LOOP anyway.” XD
