Chapter 12: Comfort

After the first night of the guys had the nightmare they were scared and shaken. The next few nights were even worse. The nightmares became more and more real. It was like a movie stuck on repeat. The same nightmare but more disturbing every night. It got to a point where they start to see themselves actually destroying the city and have the person they love begging them to stop and watch them being pushed away by an explosion. What was worse seeing the only woman they can call a mother dead and have the woman they love die in their arms.

Because of that they wanted to keep to themselves. Gong, Sora, and Silvio would try to talk to them but failed. They would ignore everyone who talked to them. They even stop going to school. Their friends got worried so they went to find their girlfriends. Soon they did and filled them in.

"Do you guys know what up this your boyfriends?" Sora asked "They're sick so that why they haven't been around." Ruri said but the guys looked at each other. "When exactly did they tell you this?" Silvio questioned "About a two weeks ago. Why?" Serena asked. "They haven't been to school for a week and the time they were there they ignored everyone. All we know is that they don't look happy and that they are not sick or anything." Gong said. They girls looked confused. "They told us that they couldn't go to school or even spend time with us. So why did they lie to us?" Ruri said and the others tried to figure out what was happening. "Well what ever it is we need to get answers. It not normal for them especially Yuya." Sora said. The girls started to get mad that they lied to them. "We will find out what up but for right now I don't feel like asking." Yuzu said as she walked away. "Bye guys." Ruri said as her sisters followed Yuzu.

They walked for awhile trying to get their minds of of their boyfriends. Serena then went home while her sisters stayed in Paradise square. She wanted to see Yuri and get and an explanation for the lying. Serena noticed someone walking with a grocery bag across the street. She recognized the purple hair. It was Yuri. She ran towards him. "Yuri!" Yuri didn't answer. Serena then grabbed his arm which caused Yuri to push her hand off and pin her to the wall. When he saw it was her he let go "I'm sorry Serena." He didn't make eye contact and started to leave. "No you do." Serena grabbed his arm again. Yuri turned to her a saw Serena crying. "You think you can just walk away from me like that?" "Serena I" "Why are you avoiding me?" "I can't see you Serena." Yuri wanted to stay but couldn't. "Why?"Serena then let go of Yuri's arm. "You know what don't answer. You were the first guy I ever liked and now you saw you don't want to see me!" Serena yelled. She tried to run but Yuri stopped her. "Serena I love you but it's to painful to see you." "Yuri what's wrong."

Yuri took Serena somewhere they can be alone. "I have nightmares." Yuri said out of nowhere "I see myself hurting people. Hurting you." Serena was shock and worried for Yuri. "Each night it get more and more real. Every time I see you I see the way you died in my arms." Yuri and Serena started to cry. Serena hugged Yuri tightly and nuzzled his chest. "Yuri I love you so please don't avoid me. I want to see you everyday of my life." "But" "maybe this will help." Serena kissed Yuri with so much passion that Yuri was starting to forget his nightmares. Yuri kissed back and wrapped his arms around Serena.
