Chapter 13: A dark appearance

Its been a few days since the nightmares stopped but they know it will come back. Every night they fear that the nightmares will return and if they don't the images they saw will forever torment them. They feel like something trying to come out something that is worse than pure evil.

"So Yuya are the nightmares gone or are they bearable." Sora asked. The guys told their friends about the nightmares and that it happened every night. "It stop for now but we are still terrified to go to sleep. If wasn't for Yuzu I don't know if I would have found the courage to go through that nightmare." Yuya then grabbed his phone and looked a picture of Yuzu on his home screen. "She must mean so much to you." "I love her so much." Yuya continued to walk to the grand opening of the candy store that Sora was dragging him to. It wasn't all bad after all Yuzu was meeting them their. As the arrived Yuzu saw them and jumped into Yuya's arms and kissed all over his face. "Come on Yuzu not in front of Sora." She giggled at Yuya's embarrassment.

At the Paradise city bird reserve Ruri was with Yuto observing the majestic birds. "Thank you for coming here with me Yuto." Ruri said as she hugged him. "Anything for you plus you make me forget about the nightmares." Yuto then kissed her cheek which made Ruri blush and giggle. She then kissed him.

Yugo was with Rin in the backyard of the orphanage. "It's nice back here. The meadow is especially beautiful." Rin said. "I know. Right now I'm seeing the most beautiful thing I have ever saw in my life." Yugo said as he hugged Rin from behind. "It's the flowers that make it beautiful." "I wasn't talking about the meadow." He spun Rin around "Oh so what were you talking about then?" She tensed. "I think you know." Yugo said as he pulled her even closer. "Kiss me then." Rin wrapped her arms around Yugo's neck. They kissed under the tree in the backyard.

Night fell and Yuri and Serena went for a walk around the city. "It's nice to see you happy again Yuri." Serena said as she held Yuri's hand. Yuri smiled and kissed her check. "I think you make me blush on purpose." She said teasing Yuri. "Well it does look really cute." Yuri said. They laughed about it for a while until something started to alarm Yuri. He pulled Serena behind. Serena soon felt it to. Then a group of thugs them came out of an alley way. "Look what we got here. Search them!" The leader commanded. "Stay way from us!" Yuri yelled. "I don't think so. And I think that girl with you would love to be with me." He said with a smirk on his face. "Like I would like to even look at a disgusting low life like you." Serena yelled. "Get his stuff and bring her to me." The thugs did what he said and surrounded the couple. "What ever happens you run when I tell you and don't look back okay." "What!?" Yuri then charged the guys behind him and punched them in the stomach. "Now run!" Yuri yelled as he started to fight the thugs long enough for Serena to escape. She hesitated to leave him. "Now go Sere" Yuri was cut off by a metal pipe that hit is back and caused him to fall. "Yuri!" Serena ran to him but was grabbed buy the gang members. The leader then grabbed the pipe and hit Yuri with it one more time. "AHHHH" "Stop it! Don't hurt him!" Serena screamed as she saw Yuri in pain. "Well what are you going to do for me." He said with an evil smirk. He walked up to her and grabbed her wrists. "This looks expensive. I'll take both of you." He then pulled her closer to him. Serena was punching him trying to get away. "Let me go!!" Serena screamed. "I don't think so. Your mine." Serena punched him in his face which made him spit out blood. Yuri looked at Serena hoping that she can escape. "I think you need to calm down. I got the solution." He then slapped Serena. Serena fell to the ground and the leader grabbed her again.

Yuri snapped and felt rage. Yuya Yugo and Yuto felt it to as well as a sharp pain.

Yuya stop and screamed in pain. "Yuya are you okay!" Yuzu said as she and Sora ran to him.

Yuto did the same and Yuya. "Yuto!" Yuto fell to his knees.

Yugo walked back outside with glasses of lemonade. He felt the rage and pain. "Yugo?" Rin looked at him when he didn't move. He fell and dropped the drinks. "Yugo!" She ran to him.
