The two walked in silence down the street with (Name)'s head hung slightly. Newt had a faint smile on his lips as he walked next to the girl. There was no rush in their step, they just walked at a comfortable speed in the silence. (Name) was thinking though. She was wondering why the man had dared to help her, and how he knew her name. The more she thought about, the weirder it got. She shook off the thoughts before looking over at the man once again.

He had sharp cheekbones and soft eyes that seemed broken beyond his years. He had soft reddish brown hair with messy curls. He was a kind looking man, for sure. Newt caught the feeling of being watched and looked over to the girl. Their eyes met for a moment before she turned straight forward once again. "How about this store?" (Name) asked and then cleared her throat. Newt looked away from her and looked forward to the store up ahead. He shrugged not really caring where they went. He was just following her because he wanted to be around her once again. She nodded and let her head slightly again.

Newt wanted to lift her head and tell her to smile and remind her that he would always be there for her. Another nostalgic sting hit his heart. He closed his eyes tightly for a moment before clearing his throat and opening his eyes slowly. She had ran a bit ahead into the store, with Newt watching her with wide eyes. She had a childish grin on her face as she waved Newt over. "Come on!" She laughed with Newt having a smile twitch onto his lips. He set his case under his arm and started running after her, a childish happiness welling in his chest.

"Wait! You're going too fast!" He was laughing at this point, chasing after the girl that was running into the store already. He chased after her while she made her way over to the photography section parted off from everything else. (Name) was laughing softly as she panted, pulling a small bronze frame off the shelf and looking it over. "What about this one?" She had asked Newt in a breathless manner as he had been leaning against the wall with a smile on his face while he panted.

"It's perfect." He said, though in utter honesty he couldn't care less on which frame she chose, as long as she was the one who had chosen it. She had walked out to the cashier and set the small frame onto the counter and pulling out two crumpled up collars. The man behind the counter had taken the money and nodded at her, letting the frame be taken away. She smiled at him before taking the frame and turning to Newt. He met her eyes for a moment before looking down at the frame, taking it into his cold and bare hands. "Thank you." He had barely whispered, earning a nod from the girl.

(Name) walked over to the door before waiting for Newt. He stood there a bit cluelessly for a moment before he had blinked a few times and nodded his head, walking over to her. As soon as he opened the door they could see the rain pouring down from outside. (Name) groaned before rubbing her forehead and looked over at Newt. "It was a pleasure to meet you-" She stopped mid-sentence. She realized that she didn't know the man's name, and her brows had furrowed. "What is your name?" She asked, while tilting her head slightly.

"Newton. Newton Scamander. You can call me Newt." He said, with a barely visible smile. (Name) smiled brightly before shaking Newt's free hand. "Well, Mister Scamander, pleasure to meet you." She walked out into the rain, with her hair almost instantly matting down to her head. Newt bit his lip with a frown, before he groaned and closed his eyes tightly. He was annoyed in himself for what he was about to do.

"(Name)!" He yelled her name out, and she stopped. She turned to look at him with her whole body dripping under the pouring rain. Newt hesitantly walked out into the rain and let go of the door behind him. He narrowed his eyes slightly as the rain poured down on him. His curly hair stuck down over his eye and he pushed it back with more cold rain hitting his face. "Would you like to come over for a cup of tea? To warm up?" He had to shout slightly over the loud pouring rain. The request was a bit odd to (Name), but she smiled and nodded.

She was almost a bit too happy to be around the odd man.
