Chapter 15 Just One

Kenny's POV
It's 5:16am and I just got home. I died twice but it was worth it. I saved sixteen people but sadly, twelve perished. (Name) is on the couch asleep with a dumb smile on her face. It made me smile and I went over to her. I picked her up, bridal style and carried her downstairs. I gently placed her in her bed and tucked her in. I turned around to go to my bed but she grabbed my hand and whispered, "Stay with me tonight." I kicked my shoes off and took off my cape. I climbed into bed with her. "You sure you're okay with this?" I chuckled. She nodded and sat up, "How many people did you save?" "Sixteen. Twelve perished." She looked at me for a moment then frowned, "How many times did you die?" "Twice. Why did you ask me to sleep with you?" She smiled and replied, " 'Cuz I just fucking watched you die, found out you're an immortal like me and you just fucking took my first kiss!"
Your POV
I covered my mouth. Shit! Now he'll know it's my first! "First, huh." he smirked deviously, "Would you want me to take your second?" "Sh-sh-shut up!" I squealed and backed up, forgetting I was on a bed so I fell backwards, however, Kenny grabbed me and pulled me before I could fall. I fell forwards and now I was on top of him. "Hiiiiii (Naaaaame)," Kenny grinned. My face is turning more red somehow. I scrambled off of him, grabbed my Midnight costume, stormed into the bathroom and actually locked the door this time. I checked my watch. 5:37am. I still have at least an hour until sunrise. I changed and ran upstairs in a flash. "(Name), where you going?!" he whisper-shouted, chasing after me. He was already in his superhero garb. I climbed onto the roof. I didn't care. I needed to kill! I twirled my knife in my hand and giggled crazily. I saw a random civilian walking in an alley and knew it was my chance. Just one kill. Just one!
Kenny's POV
I see her. I know what she's doing. She wants to kill but like hell if she thinks I am going to let her! I'm running faster then I ever thought I could and so is she. She's raising her dagger, the man looks like he's about to piss himself. "If I'm not your worst nightmare," (name) cackled, "I aspire to be!" I tackle her and the man just stands there in fear. "Let go of me!" she screams, "Just one! I need just one kill, Mysterion!" "(Name)," I whispered, "You're better then this." "No, I'm not! I'm nothing more then a heartless monster, a husk with no human emotions!" "I believe in you, (name). You're one of us now. You can be good." I hug her tightly and eventually, she drops her dagger and begins to cry. "I'm sorry." The man finally runs off. "I don't need just one more kill," she whispers, "I just need my friends by my side."
