Chapter 37 Coma

Kenny's POV

At the Hospital

"Kid, you've been here for three days straight. You have to go home and rest!" "No," I growled, "I am NOT leaving until she wakes up!" "She is in a coma! She'll be up at least by the end of the month." "Then that's how long I'm staying." Security guards came in and the nurse frowned, "I'll ask you one last time. Leave." "No! I can't leave her!" The security guards grab me and lead me out the building, covering my mouth as I kick and scream and thrash around, desperately trying to get back to (Name). They throw me out and run back inside locking the doors. I stand up and lean against the wall. I feel like crying. "Kenny," I hear a familar voice say. I look up. "Kenny, come on. I'll take you home." "Kyle, go away. I don't want to. I need to get back inside," I growl. "Kenny, what about Karen? She's been at home alone for three days!" "She's fucking fine! She's got food, water and heat." Kyle sighed and scratched the back of his head, "Look, I came here mainly to get you for a Coon and Friends meeting." "I'm not going." "I thought you might say that. So I'm telling what we are discussing." "What, some stupid bullshit." "No, who did this to (Name)."

Kyle's POV

Now I got his attention. Kenny's eyes widened and his face turned to anger, "Who fucking did this?" "Come to the meeting." "Fine! We have to stop off at her house first." "Fine with me."

At the House

Kyle's POV

Kenny's breathing really heavily. "Dude, she's going to wake up eventually. Calm down." "Kyle, I know, but . . . it still hurts." I put my hand on his shoulder, "I know, dude. She's not going to die though, okay? She's just in a coma." Kenny looked like he had an idea then he brushed it off. I decided to ignore it. He goes downstairs and after a few minutes, Mysterion emerges from the darkness. He doesn't say anything, just waits for me to change. I walk into the bathroom and walk out as the Human Kite.

At the Coon and Friends Headquarters 3AM

Kenny's POV

The Coon sighs, "It's worse then I thought. So. Much. Worse. Coon volume up!" "Breaking News! Due to help from unknown sources, the supervillain group led by Doctor Destruction has escaped from prison. Whereabouts are unknown and everyone is asking, "Will our Superheroes help us once again?" "Those . . . they . . . I W I L L K I L L
T H E M F O R T H I S!" I scream. "Mysterion, calm the fuck down!" Coon shouts angrily. I give him the finger and lean against the wall, trying to cool off. "Sadly, there's nothing we can do right now," Coon sighs, "We'll have to wait for them to make their first move. Coon and Friends dismissed!"

At the Hospital

Kenny's POV

I sneak into the hospital and to (Name)'s room. She looks so peaceful. I smile and touch her face. Still warm. I feel the tears slip out of my eyes as I pull out the knife. Maybe that gave her some kind of reaction as she touches my hand and whispers, "Do it quick." Then becomes limp again. The tears fall harder as I press the knife into her heart and press my lips to hers at the same time. "Forgive me. I'll see you when you wake up." I hear screams from behind me as I escape out into the darkness, waiting for my beloved (Name) to return to me.
