'Kenny's POV
I woke up and groaned, trying to move, but stopping myself. She's laying on me and I don't want to wake her. She looks so peaceful and I'll feel like a dick if I wake her up. Oh god. I feel like I'm going to hurl. I groan again and cover my mouth. I need to think about something else. I decide to think about (Name). A strand of hair is in her face. I smile and move my hand to push it out of the way. Before I can, a hand grabs my wrist tightly and stops me. Obviously, it's her hand and she sits up, staring at me. "What the fuck are you doing?" "You did it to me a while back. Just returning the favor," I grin, breaking free from her grip and tucking her hair behind her ear. She blushes and looks away. "Tsundere." "Shut it, baka." Oh shit. I feel sick again. I don't have to time to explain. All I say to her is, "Sorry," as I push her off me and dash to the bathroom. I don't dare look back, but I can hear her footsteps behind me. "Kenny!" She makes it just in time to see me toss cookies in the toilet. I don't remember how, but soon after, I passed out. My head buried in the toilet, the last thing I remember is (Name) whispering, "Tisk, tisk, tisk."
Your POV
Weird to think that an immortal can feel pain. Except they are usually much worse. Things like scratches and pain on the skin is usually normal, but pain like headaches and stomachaches are always much worse. This is because we don't get them as often. The last time I had them was when I was six and I'm sixteen now. Eternal torment, whether it be emotional like the pain we feel when nobody remembers or physically, from the countless times we've died. The price we immortals have to pay for the eternal life we never asked for. I used to see it as a gift. How I could help people and be a "hero". That was so many years ago, but as the days, weeks, months, even years drifted by, I saw my power for what it really was. A curse. I suppose that's what drove me to become a superhero. Kenny and the rest of them saved me. And for that, I owe them my life.
I wiped Kenny's mouth and picked him up, throwing him over my shoulder. I guess I could put him in my bed. I walked downstairs and put him in my bed. I placed my hand on his head. "Jesus, you're hotter than the fiery pits of hell!" I went into the kitchen, grabbed a white washrag and filled it with cold water. I walked back to him and pushed his hair away. I placed the washrag on his head and let go of his bangs. I sunk to the floor in exhaustion and turned on the TV. The news was on and the newscaster was reporting random things, but something caught my attention. "Meanwhile, the fire in Downtown South Park shows no sign of stopping. Thirty-eight people are stuck inside and firefighters have no way to save them." I smiled and changed into my costume. Maybe Kenny will finally be proud of me . . .
