Chapter 31 Too Late

Kenny's POV

I lean against the wall and relax while Midnight points her dagger at the two villains and says, "Shall we begin?" She is so demanding. It's kind of hot but I don't have time for that right now. I just want to know what the hell is going on.

Your POV

"Start talking!" I yell at them but they just say silent. "Fine," I smirk, "I'll just you a question. How did you remember me dying?" "How could we not?" Darkness speaks up. "I killed you." "Are you two . . . immortals?" "What? No!" Destruction laughs and I could tell he was being honest. I let out a sigh of relief but quickly took it back. I walked over to Mysterion. "What should we do?" "Turn them in to the authorites." I sighed but knew that was the right thing to do. I was about to call 911 but Destruction interrupted me. "You know you're not much better then we are." "What in God's name are you talking about? I'm a hero! Did you forget?" "No, but I also didn't forget how you slaughtered Pip Pirrup, Token Black's parents and Token Black himself! Not to mention many civilians!"

Kenny's POV

Midnight seemed to break down. I was a little bit too, but it really seemed to get to her. I had always tried to get over it but I never could. She backed up against the wall and covered her ears. "N-n-no! I didn't mean to!" "Yes, you did!" Destruction laughed, "Remember his screams for mercy, his blood that YOU spilled." I have to do something otherwise she might go insane. Without thinking, I dash over to Destruction and kick him in the side of the head. He groans and spits out blood and a tooth. "You're our hostages. Not the other way around!" He just stays silent, grinning at me as blood dribbles from the corner of his mouth. I walk over to Midnight and put my hand on her shoulder, but she stands up and pushes me away. I look at her panicked eyes, she looks like she's going to snap.

Your POV

I want to show them who I am. So they can know who it was who ended their worthless lives. I know Kenny will try to hold me back. This time, I won't let him!

Kenny's POV

She wants to kill them. Of course! That's what they want. For her to be the monster they think she is. I grab her wrist as she walks towards them and look at her. She whispers, "Sorry," before pressing her lips to mine and stabbing me in the stomach. She pulls away and tears fall from her face. "Don't try and stop me. You'll just hurt yourself more." "I can't let you do this." "You don't have a choice in the matter, Kenny." She walks over and cuts Darkness's ropes. Darkness laughs and runs to escape but Midnight catches her and pins her to the wall. Midnight pins her there by the neck with one hand and with the other, takes off her hood, her (color) hair falling to her sides. "(Name), what are you doing?" She grins, "Now you can't stop me. They know who I am." "(Name)!" They both exclaim and Darkness quivers in fear. Swiftly, she stabbed Darkness and she slid to the floor. My heart sank and I couldn't bare to watch. I grab my knife and stab my heart. "(Name) I'll see you at home."
