While it is true, Seung-gil Lee does have an aversion to girls, and he does tune everything out when not skating, there is one girl who caught his attention.

At 18, he met [Full Name]. He liked her because she wasn't like other girls. She didn't bother with her hair unless forced to. She didn't bother with makeup. She was very practical and down to earth. That's the reason he asked her out at 18. By 19, they were living together. Now, at 20... There's something wrong.

[Name] couldn't help but wonder. Why was he leaving so early and coming back so late...? She desperately tried to wake up when he did, but even at 6 am, he was gone. She knew he'd been home because of the dirty dishes in the sink from when he got home, and another from his breakfast.

She tried waiting up for him. It would reach about 2 am before she crashed. She would always be on the couch when she would crash, but wake up in bed. That was only a 4 hour time frame.

She sighed as she looked at their pictures up on the mantel. His dog, Jun (well, she supposed he was their dog), gently pawed at her, giving off little whimpers.

"Hey, it's okay." She gently said, sitting on the couch, Jun plopping in her lap, "He... He still loves me. I'm not going anywhere." She sniffed, "Not unless he wants me to."

She started crying, and decided to call her best friend, Hyun-Ok.

"Hello? [Name]?! What's wrong?!" She frantically asked.

"It-it's nothing, I think. Seung-gil is just... Avoiding me, I think." She sniffed, "I'm staying up until 2 am, and I'll crash on the couch. I wake up at 6 and h-he's already gone. He's not getting enough sleep, and I don't know why he's gone so early and out so late!!!"

Hyun-Ok thought, "Maybe he's just training. Or maybe he's with friends?" She suggested, "I think you may be over thinking things, [Name]. Seung-gil isn't that type of guy."

[Name] calmed down, "Okay. Maybe you're right. I think I'll take Jun out for a walk. Take my mind off of our apartment."

"Okay. If something comes up, call me, okay?"

"Yeah." She replied, and clicked off from the phone app, "Wanna go for a-" she was effectively cut off by her phone ringing.

"Hello?" She gently asked.

"Is this [Full Name]? Seung-gil Lee's roommate?" The person asked.

"Yes, who is this?"

"Seung-gil's doctor. Before you freak out, he's fine. He's passed out from exhaustion at the moment. We were asked to inform you under instructions found in his wallet."

"May I come see him?"

"Yes, of course."

And the other line clicked off.

"Sorry, Jun. Mom's gotta take a trip."

Jun whined.

"I'll be back. Be good." She pet his head then got into her car and drove to the hospital.

The drive was agonizingly long. It had been a month since she'd seen him, let alone talked to him.

Maybe it's because of the fight...? She thought. Right before all of this started, they'd had a small - albeit important - fight. But in relationships, fights were normal! It wasn't as if she was still mad.
