Kenjirou Minami had dated [Full Name] since highschool. They were a perfect match. He loved her so much, and she him; however, as he got older, and more attractive, girls started gawking around him.

It started after his growth spurt, going from 5' 2" to 5' 10" in what seemed over night in the middle of their senior year.

After that, he had fangirls even more than before. They tried kissing him, they'd hug on him. And when he'd come back from a competition, [Name] would find a certain type of invitation in his pockets.

One that she found had lipstick on it, and the jacket it was in had the smell of perfume on it.

"[Name]-chan!!!" Kenjirou exclaimed, "I'm going out for a bit~!" He leaned down for a kiss, but [Name] dodged. "Whaaaa? [Name]-chan!!!" He whined, "Where's my goodbye kiss?" He pouted.

"One," [Name] stated, "You're 21. Quit pouting." She held up the note and the jacket, "Two, who the hell is this... Girl, why do you have her address, and why does this jacket smell like perfume?!" She exclaimed.

"Awe! Are you jealous?" Minami cooed.

"Not. The. Time. Kenjirou!" [Name] glared, [eye color] hued orbs cutting holes into his own eyes.

"[Name], I keep them off the best I can. But I can only do so much." He sighed, "I wish I could take you with me, but you've got class during the competitive season."

"Why don't you say, 'I have a girlfriend, we've been together for 4 years.'?" [Name] questioned, "And do you know how many notes I've found inviting you back to their rooms for, and I quote most of them, more fun than you've ever had?!"

"But have I accepted any? No! I'm loyal to you, [Name]-chan!"

"I... I trust you, but how can I be sure?!"

This fight was escalating quickly, and Minami just blurted out something to hurt her, "Fine, if you can't handle it, just leave!"

As soon as he saw her eyes widen, he knew he'd fucked up, "F-fine... I'll... Go pack my things." She said as quietly as possible. She sniffed, holding back tears that threatened to break through her tough barrier.

"[Name], no..." He grabbed her wrist on her way to their room.

"Don't touch me!" She exclaimed, "Please..."

He let go. He found it to be the hardest thing he's ever done. It was painful. Watching and not being able to do anything. He got up, "[Name], please, listen..." But he was cut off.

"Kenjirou... I think we should take a break. This isn't healthy. Me getting riled up and taking it out on you." [Name] said.

"[Name]..." He said softly as he watched her zip her suitcase.

"If you need me... I'll be at my parents." she whispered, walking out to her car.

Minami could only watch as she left.

It was a few weeks, maybe three - at the most - for Minami's brother to seek out [Name].
