"Huh?" I fell asleep in the creepy hallway; what time is it? O my God! It's three o' seven a.m. Joe's going to kill me. I stayed there thinking where was Joe upstairs when I left, I looked at the clock and I wasted three minutes of my precious time in thinking. I to the elevator went up two levels and was finally where I started , passed the desk kept running finally I was in the Emergency Room. Joe was with Emily sleeping I walked toward them and saw some food on a table near them. I looked in the bag and it had a bacon-cheese burger with fries and a coke. It was cold they must've ate hours ago, I ate my cold burger and fries but left the watery coke.
It was still three fifty-three, I couldn't sleep, wasn't sleepy either. I went to the main desk and sat down thinking of something I could do to past time. An image of Thomas came to my head I wonder if he's sleeping already?
"Excuse me, can you tell me in which room Thomas Longston is?" I asked the secretary, again
"Fourth level room 304, he will be submitted to an operation tomorrow" she said, I think she meant <<Do not disturb the patient he is resting>> or something like that. I wanted someone to talk to but I was scared of disturbing him, he was going to be operated in a few hours.
I was in the fourth floor looking for his room, room 304. It was locked, I didn't have anything else to do, I think I'll just stick around as I walked through one hallway, already tired of walking I sat on a couch, everything was silent I looked at every corner and nobody was near here. I was already getting bored of just sitting in the couch.
"Ready, camera, action! Where's the people?" I was bored to death, when I heard Thomas voice coming closer and closer, I started running towards the voice was coming from. I heard it clearer, my cell phone started to vibrate, a text from Amy whom was with Lizzie asking of everything was all right. How did they know? Moreover, why are they asking me right now, don't they realize it's already four thirty-two
"Ahh!" I suddenly tripped with something "Oww". I looked down and I was above a boy. He had black hair in a cool hairstyle, he hasn't opened his eyes yet, but he had sandy skin a nice color.
"Oh, I'm sorry, are you okay?" I asked
"I'd be better, if you would get of me" he had a British accent, his eyes were a hazel liquid color, that could hypnotize you if you kept looking at them for a very long time. He was a bit red.
"Right, sorry again" I didn't realize I was still on top of him, I stood up and saw Thomas on a corner looking at me smiling.
"Tommy, I was looking for you" I ran to his side "I heard that you were going to be operated tomorrow, that means in a few hours" I was worried but he just kept smiling and a few seconds later burst laughing.
"It's tomorrow, tomorrow, this is my big brother Bryan, he's staying with me tonight. I couldn't sleep so we went for a walk" he explained. I felt a bit stupid I couldn't figure what the secretary had meant and got my imagination to run wild. The three of us went to Tommy's room, I wonder of Joe and Emily woke up.
"Tommy, I think you better go to sleep you need a lot of rest for tomorrow's test" Bryan said tucking him to bed.
"I hope you get better Tommy, so we can play outside another time" I reached for his fore head and kissed him goodnight.
