Part 9

Today, it was already those winter days were it snows light fragments that when they touch your skin you flinch and they quickly turn into water drops. The day we where going to fly to Canada, I woke up at six in the morning the maid Paulette woke me up to eat breakfast and meet with Rose and Kate. Rose was going to take us to the airport, unlike normal school trips that we all meet in the school and go together to the destination. In Loran Institution, we met in the airport and if you couldn't catch the flight the you wouldn't be counted in the list of the trip. I was finally going to wear my winter sets that With had bought me when I moved here.

I got dressed wore a solid purple American- Eagle long-sleeve top with dark skinny blue jeans, brown furry boots and a dark brown long sweater grabbed my big bag and went downstairs. With had to go to work today so he said he would meet us in Canada, he was going to take another flight.

The plane was going to take off at eight thirty in the morning and it was already seven fourteen. I called Rose wondering where she was but she never picked up the phone at this rate we were going to be late and miss the flight. I called Kate thinking she might pick up the phone but neither both did. Anxiety rose I couldn't help it thinking that we would loose the flight, they might've ran into an accident or even worse they forgot me and left me, then I would become the reality star of <<Home Alone 5>>.

I walked around the house, around the freaky hallways full of posters of movies. Even though I might've been living here for more than three months I only knew the way from the kitchen to the living room to the dining room to my room and that was it. While planning With's birthday I learned the whole backyard space area. But inside was a maze you never knew which path you took and were you would end.

I kept walking through the second floor and past With's room I continued walking and looked at my left were there were other stairs to go down. Nobody ever mentioned another way to go downstairs...or... maybe it led somewhere else. I went down the stairs as it kept getting darker and darker, darker until I couldn't even see my self. I crashed with what seemed to be the end I lit up the room with my cell-phone, no signal, as I saw a door, locked-black heavy door. I looked at it and then looked at the lock it had a logo, a weird one. It was an <<LI>> together in some weird design like italic with rose thorns attaching them. It was the weirdest thing I had ever seen in this house must be a geeky-club With's in...maybe.

I couldn't budge the door so returned upstairs where my phone started to ring, fifteen missed calls of Rose and Kate. I called back:

"ALEX WHERE ARE YOU WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU LIKE FOR TEN MINUTES WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Rose yelled at the phone. They were finally here I ran took my hard skinned purple valet and ran outside where Rose's butler was waiting for me.

"There you are Miss Alexandra" he said taking my valet. Robert Di Vitto, the youngest butler I ever knew, he drove Rosaline to wherever she wanted, they both had a strong friendship, and even though he was a butler, he was a senior at Loran's. I entered the car where Rose and Kate where. Rose discussing with I-don't-know-who in the phone and Kate looking at me as if she were annoyed at Rose's conversation.

Robert drove fast to the airport I looked at Kate and Rose they were so calm; was I the only one excited? We entered the gate it was already eight fifteen as Jonathan waited for us at the entrance.
