I woke up this morning with my throat burning and feeling really slouchy. Jumin was not laying down next to me. He must had woken up before me to get ready for work. I pulled myself out of bed and walked to the kitchen. Jumin was in there making tea for both of us.

"Good morning (Y/N)," he said as he placed the tea bags in the mugs. Elizabeth 3rd stood by his side on the ground. I pulled up a stool and laid my head against the cool tile. It felt good.

"Jumin I don't feel too good today..." I mumbled. He turned to look at me then looked surprise.

"You look sick. How about you go back to bed, and I'll bring you your tea." I stood up and went to lean my head on Jumin's shoulder.

"I'll be fine. I can fight it." Jumin turned towards me and picked me up. I felt too bad to refuse, so I laid there in defeat. He placed me back on the bed and put the covers back over me. Grabbing a thermometer from the bathroom, he took my temperature.

"You must have caught a cold. I'll call Assistant Kang and cancel everything. I can't let you stay here alone or allow someone else to take care of you." Elizabeth crawled up next to me and affectionately purred against my arm. I pet her head and smiled. "Besides you Elizabeth 3rd. You could have kept her company, but I need to stay here too."

"But Jumin what about your work-"

"It's not that important. All I had were a few meetings and documents." I sighed and went back to petting the cat. I feel so bad for Jaehee. All that extra work she will have to deal with. After a few calls and finishing the tea, he returned with a mug in hand. I took it from him and took a sip. It's soothing for my throat. I smiled and patted next to me. He sat down and played with my hair.

"I feel so bad. I can take care of myself. I've done it before I met you guys." I coughed. My throat hurts even more now. Thanks sickness...

Jumin looked at me and frowned. "Like I said, the company isn't important right now. I need to make sure you are treated like the princess you are while sick," he commented while twirling my hair on his hair. I felt my face get hotter. He laughed. "Now get some rest (Y/N)." He gave me a quick kiss and walked out the room. I laid there for a while and ended up playing games on my phone. I couldn't. Even petting Elizabeth for god knows how many minutes didn't work.

"Jumin!" I shouted. He ran as quick as possible.

"Are you okay? Did something happen to Elizabeth?" I ignored the cat question.

"I can't sleep or just rest no matter what I do. Can you stay in here." Jumin sat on the bed next to me and held me in his arms.

"If you want to get better, you need your rest (M/C). Whatever you need I can get or Assistant Kang can for me." I thought for a moment and smirked.

"If I can get whatever I want then... can we cuddle and watch a movie?" He smiled, sat down next to me, and held his arms protectively around my waist in front of him We decided on (Y/F/M). I fell asleep though.

He helped me the rest of the day. I had to teach him what instant ramen is though. "You commoners and your instant food." It was nice being able to see him all day for once. It's not something that happens often. I woke up the next day feeling better than before, but as soon as I turned to talk to Jumin: "ACHOO!" Looks like it's my turn now to take care of him.

Ok so that was actually my first x reader one shot so sorry if that was terrible. But I am on day 8 of Jumin's route so that's what got me to do one about him.
