Prey? | Vampire!Jumin x Human!Reader

It was a late fall night as I walked the streets to meet up with my friend. He had promised to go watch a movie I wanted to see since he lived near by and he was free, for once. The fact that I even was able to drag him to the movie was a miracle. I decided to walk because the theater wasn't that far from my apartment.

My walk was very causal at first. It was slightly breezy, and the streets weren't very crowded. Suddenly, I felt my wrist was grabbed, and I was moving at a very fast pace. I didn't have time to react until I realized I stopped in the middle of a random alley. My body was paralyzed in fear against a wall. A stranger stood before me.

The light glow of streetlights allowed me to see a bit of his features. The man was looming over me. He had dark hair with a part of it hanging in his face. His eyes were a light grey, but he pupils were slits. The man licked his lips and smirked.

"Aww look, a helpless little prey roaming the streets. That's always a good thing," he said as he smirked.

"What do you want?" I stuttered out as I stood there defenseless. He traced with his finger from my collarbone up to my chin and made me look up at him. I got a better look at his face now that the light is more obvious. Damnit he's hot.

He laughed at me. "Well, you'll realize in a second." The guy smiled. His canine teeth stood out more then his other teeth, almost like they were fangs. I realized what's about to happen. The slit eyes, the seductiveness, the fangs.

I'm going to get killed by a freaking hot vampire.

I press my lips together. "Well this is not the way I expected to be dying." He lets out a quick laugh before scowling placing one hand behind my neck and the other against my body making sure I don't move.

"Be quiet, prey. Food shouldn't be talking." He lowered his head to my neck and sunk his fangs into my neck. I winced at the pain as he started sucking the blood out of me. It hurt like hell and I felt myself slowly getting lightheaded. He stopped after a few seconds and took out his fangs. The vampire stared at me for a few moments before scoffing and stepping away.

"This would be easier if you weren't so pretty," the vampire said as he crossed his arms and looked away. I looked at him both confused and flustered. Didn't he want to kill me thirty seconds ago?

"Wait what?"

He sighed. "How about this. I won't kill you if you do me a favor. I need you to act like my girlfriend for a good while. I need to convince my father to not arrange a marriage for me." I blinked. Act like his girlfriend to save my life? That's a deal I'll take any day.

"Fine. As long as you don't try to kill me again," I say.

"I can kill you if you break this deal,"
he says. He steps back from me and takes his phone out. "I'm going to need your contact information, so we can do this."

I take my phone out, create a new contact and hand him my phone to put his name in. He does the same. I see once I get it back that his name is Jumin Han.

"Well Jumin the vampire, I need to get to a movie, so we can talk more later. Thanks for sparing my life." He nods in response and leaves.

I hurry on my way to meet up with my friend since I have to be there in a few minutes. As I walk, I debate what's just occurred the past five minutes. I got dragged by a vampire, he started to drink my blood, and then we have to act like we're dating for a while.

Hey, it's better than being dead on the ground right now.

Happy thanksgiving to all of my fellow American people! (Its still thanksgiving for me for a few minutes, so I'll let it count) Now soon comes the stress of exam season (send help I'm going to fail) and the joy of the holidays because Christmas is fantastic. I will probably do a holiday themed one shot with someone, so if you have a holiday themed idea for a character let me know!
