Chapter 2

I awaken to the calming strokes of a thumb on the back of my hand, yet i keep my eyes closed.

"Her breathing is down to normal, same with her temperature. She should be waking up at any time" an unfamiliar voice explains. The voice was delicate, but beautiful at the same time. There was a accent with it as well, Austrailian to be exact.

"Thank you Gina, make sure to tell your boys, they seemed worried!" That voice sounded more recognizable, as gentle as a dove.

The unknown voice agreed and left. My eyes fluttered open as the bright light struck my eyes I lifted my arm to sheild myself from it. I try to sit up but my body feels weak, so I lay back down.

"Oh dear god," a panicked Cindy says, "thank god you're awake!!" I manage to let out a weak laugh.

"Wh-what exactly happened?" I ask, voice cracking as I speak. She explains to me what happened and I sigh with a hint of frustration. It's already beginning to be like back home.

"Go back to your seat and relax. We have at least 2 more hours until we get there." I listen to my aunt and walk back to my seat. As I push through the curtains, everyone's eyes fall on me. My cheeks begin to heat up as I walk down the isle and try to find my seat. As I come near to it, Luke and Skip jump up.

"Are you alright??" the boy with the piercing in his lip asks. He was quite cute too. He was shaking. Maybe I frightened him when I passed out. I was about here when I did.

"Yeah... I guess." I answer with hesitation and a giggle. I start to feel dizzy again, and Luke must've noticed because he grabs my waist as support, and helps me walk back to my seat next to Jai.

"You didn't have to do that," I say, feeling embarrassed.

"Eh it's not a big deal!!" he says with glee, "it's not everyday you get to help a beautiful girl"

My cheeks begin to heat up again and I look down with a smile. I can feel Jai glaring at me.

"I'm not that pretty, but thanks.." i answer, I can't get the huge grin off my face.

"Are you kidding??" Luke's voice begins to raise. "You're-"

"Hey Luke." His voice sounds annoyed and angry. Maybe even jealous. But why would he be? Over me? No way. No one can be. "I think it's time you go back to Daniel." his face looks stern, and Luke slumps his head and starts to walk back. He turns around for a second.

"I hope this isn't the last time I see your face" he says. He's being flirty.

I laugh at his corny remark. "I'm Ellie by the way." I say with a wink. He laughs then goes to sit down.

I do the same with a sigh. My face is beet red and I'm smiling like an retard. Jai must've noticed because he baca me fidgety all of a sudden.

"Are you ok?" I ask him. He looks pissed.

"Uh. Yeah." He answers awkwardly.

"Oh." I say concerned. "It just looks like you're p-"

"Don't fall for Luke."

"What..?" this is awkward.

"He's a douche." Jai begins, "he reels in any hot girl he sees then drops them a week later. I don't know you that well, but you seem like the type to get hurt easily."

I was speechless. It was so awkward. But it was cute how he seemed to care about me. He didnt, but it was cute. "Thanks but even if I did 'like' him, I have no way of contacting you guys. So what's the point?" I explained more sassy then I should have.
