"Uhh..." Minky flattened her ears, taking a step back. She was aware that she looked like a no-good bundle of rat fur. "I don't exactly have the luxury of time to groom myself where here is every cat for themselves."
"You're alone? Why?" Pinpoint questioned, stepping forward. Minky responded by taking another step back.
"They despise me," Minky muttered, cursing herself for looking like a bird that died, came back to life, but died again. Her dusty brown fur resembled that of bird feathers. "I'm nothing but a lowlife commoner."
Pinpoint's brilliant amber eyes burned as he stared into Minky's own deep amber eyes. "That's no reason to hate someone."
"Why not?" Minky asked, kneading her paws nervously on the ground. "I have no outstanding abilities, nor do I have the looks for other cats to like me."
Pinpoint was silent for a moment, making Minky even more nervous, afraid that she had unknowingly insulted the golden tom.
Minky fell back in surprise when he burst out laughing. The brown she-cat lashed her tail in anger, her nervousness gone. "What's so funny? I just admitted that I'm a "too-normal-for-anyone-to-like" type of cat!"
"I'm sorry. It's just very funny how you think you have plenty of flaws," Pinpoint mused, flicking an ear in amusement. "You may be normal, but at least you've got your head into reality. Those that think they are better than normal are living in a delusional dream."
Minky got onto her paws, tilting her head in confusion. "What do you mean?'
"You may not be crazy special, but you've got a beautiful heart. They are mouse-brains to think you're nothing," Pinpoint mewed pointedly, his face serious.
Minky felt herself heating up in embarrassment. "T-thank you."
"Since you're so lonely and probably have nothing better to do, why not I show you around the border of the forest and mountain?" Pinpoint offered, grinning. "I heard wildcats live there."

» Too cautious, refuse to do so. Prefer to stay in the silver boulder.
