"So did you tell him?"

"no."

"ugh" Penny sighed in defeat, throwing her arms in desperation, hoping that Julie will finally tell Matthew the truth by this simply gesture. Julie, however, remained impassive, her eyes glued onto the pavement tiles as she watched leaves crumble underneath her worn-out converse.

"there's no point, Penny." Julie said monotonously, acting as though she was over all the childish feelings for Matthew, and was ready to accept the fact that he might never return the feelings Julie had for him, the same feelings that got her in this mess.

She breathed in slowly, taking in the crisp air coming into her system, with the hopes of clearing her mind before she once again spoke, "He's far too dense, anyway. All I can do now is get over these feelings."

Julie wished it was as easy as it sounded, to get over her feelings. But somewhere deep in her heart she knew that she still hasn't let go of that tiny little hope, the tiny little hope that maybe Matthew might one day like her back.

"You're whipped Julie, just accept the fact." Penny said calmly, knowing that whatever she says will not send an impression on Julie.

But it did. It hurt to hear the truth, and it angered her to a point where her head starred throbbing. This was all too much for Julie, and it was far to tiring. It was just the same cycle over and over again with Matthew, and she was absolutely sick and tired of it.

"If I just knew you'd only hurt like this.." Penny began, staring directly at Julie with softened eyes, "I would've did things differently. You wouldn't have to go through all of this."

"Its not your fault, Im just stupid." Julie weakly smiled. "Besides.."

"As much as it hurts, I wouldn't have done things differently if I could."
