Hong Kong
Half and Hour Later

It was dark and raining by the time Godzilla and the others arrived. The evidence of the Kaiju's destruction was immediately present. Buildings were destroyed, fire raged through the streets, though they were muted by the rain, and vehicles were flipped over. Godzilla cautiously lead the others through the city. They couldn't find the Kaiju, but he had a feeling that soon, the Kaiju would find them.
"Jet said there are two Kaiju attacking right now." Godzilla explained. "Their names are Otachi and Leatherback."
"They already have names, huh?" Rodan asked.
"Yeah, they're given code names as soon as they come out of the breach." Godzilla continued. Suddenly, they heard a noise from somewhere above them. Godzilla glanced up, followed by Anguirus and Rodan. They all saw a massive steel beam flying towards them. They all jumped out of the way before the beam hit them. Just as Godzilla registered this happening, a massive figure jumped in out of nowhere. He was a bit taller than Godzilla, and covered in bone-like armour, especially on his arms and legs. He was wearing a brownish-grey jumpsuit with blue markings all over it, and his eyes were glowing a bright blue. Godzilla brandished his katana, but in response, the figure simply grinned evilly. He reared back and smacked Godzilla away with amazing force. While he was incapacitated, Anguirus ran over to the figure. Once he reached him, he smacked him in the face with his hammer. Besides making him stumble back a little, Anguirus' attack didn't do much.
"I'm guessing this guy is Leatherback." He said.
"Then this must be Otachi." Rodan said. He was referring to another figure who had just jumped into the battle. Like Leatherback, she was wearing a dark coloured jumpsuit overtop bone-like protrusions which acted like armour. Also like Leatherback, her yellow eyes seemed to glow. As she landed on the ground, her long dark blue hair fell in front of her face. Once she saw Rodan was holding two blades, she herself produced two blade-like protrusions from her wrists. Then, she ran at Rodan. He deflected her attack with his swords, and then kicked her in the stomach. While they fought, Anguirus was fighting with Leatherback. Leatherback apparently had no weapons, and instead fought with his own brute strength. He put his arms up and ran at Anguirus, knocking him back into a pile of rubble. Luckily, he was able to move out of the way before Leatherback slammed his fist into the pile at full force. He punched it so hard that he actually punctured a hole in it. Anguirus was a little intimidated now.
"So... do you guys talk at all?" He asked. In response, Leatherback did say something, but Anguirus couldn't understand the language. His voice was deep and gravely. Anguirus couldn't respond, as Leatherback punched at him again. He responded by swinging his hammer. Unfortunately, Leatherback caught the hammer and ripped it out of his hands. Then, he swung his arm to hit Anguirus, who narrowly dodged out of the way. The surprise made him fall to the ground. Right as Leatherback was about to attack him again, Godzilla's katana struck him through the shoulder. He grunted, more out of frustration than pain, and ripped the sword out of his arm. Godzilla, who was now standing back up after Leatherback attacked him, caught the sword as Leatherback threw it away. He sent an atomic blast at his back, but it barely did anything. Meanwhile, Rodan was still fighting with Otachi. While she wasn't as big or bulky as Leatherback, she was much faster, and she was even able to fly like Rodan. She seemed to be more calculating and precise with her attacks. Rodan could barely keep up. Luckily, while Otachi was flying overhead, she was suddenly shot down by something. She fell to the ground, completely unconscious. Rodan looked up to see what had shot Otachi, and saw one of the two Jaegers approaching him. As she ran over to him, he could see her armour was a dark silver colour, and she had a yellow visor covering her face. Not only did the Jaeger have a machine gun mounted on her arm, but she also had two machine guns mounted on her shoulders.
"You're Rodan, right?" She asked.
"Uh... yeah. And you're one of the Jaegers?" Rodan responded. The Jaeger nodded, and flipped up the visor on her helmet. Rodan could see her black hair with a blue streak. She was also wearing thick black eyeshadow, making her eyes seem a little bit bigger.
"You can call me Coyote Tango." She said. "Don't worry about Otachi. I'll take it from here."
She took the machine gun off of her arm and hooked it on the side of her hip. With her free arm, she pressed a few buttons on her other wrist. As she did, a large drone showed up and picked up Otachi with a tractor beam. Once it had Otachi's unconscious body locked in, it sped away, most likely to the Shatterdome.
"She'll be fine." Coyote said. "I shot her with a strong sedative. She'll wake up in an hour or so." She looked over to Leatherback, who was currently fighting Godzilla and Anguirus. She saw another Jaeger running towards them. She sighed and shook her head.
"Looks like my associate has different methods of capturing Kaiju." She said. As she said this, the other Jaeger punched Leatherback with a massive fist. These fists were a part of her main weapons, taser gauntlets. Basically, they were giant gloves equipped with tasers. The Jaeger's armour was a dark green, and unlike Coyote, she didn't have a helmet. Instead, she had a yellow visor that resembled goggles. This allowed Anguirus and Godzilla to see her short blonde hair. One punch from the Jaeger was not enough to stop Leatherback, and he turned his attention to her. Snarling, he charged towards her. In response, the Jaeger punched Leatherback yet again, and then slammed both fists into the sides of his head. Now he was stumbling, but not completely knocked out. Now was the Jaeger's chance. She activated the taser on her fist and punched Leatherback as hard as she could in the chest. Now, he was knocked out. He fell to the ground, and the Jaeger deactivated the gauntlets. They unlocked from around her hands, and compressed neatly on the back of her wrists. She looked over at Anguirus and Godzilla, who were staring wide eyed at her. She nodded at them.
"You two must be the Kaiju who were sent to help us." She said. She spoke with a thick Russian accent. "I am Cherno Alpha. It's nice to meet you." Godzilla cleared his throat and stepped foreword.
"I'm Godzilla." He introduced himself. "This is Anguirus."
"...Hey." Anguirus said, waving. He was still staring at her. Cherno gave him a confused look, which let him know how strange he was acting. He cleared his throat and stopped staring.
"Okay, then..." Cherno said quietly. Like Coyote, she activated a drone to take Leatherback away. Without much of a goodbye, she walked away. She motioned for Coyote to follow her, and the two left the area. Rodan flew over and landed near Godzilla and Anguirus, and crossed his arms.
"Is it just me, or are they trying to take our jobs?" He asked.
"No, it's not just you." Godzilla confirmed. He narrowed his eyes at the Jaegers as they walked away. "I don't like where this whole thing is going." He continued. He began to walk over to the boat, and Rodan followed him. Anguirus stayed behind, still looking at the Jaegers, specifically at Cherno. Godzilla realized Anguirus wasn't following them, and stopped himself, turning around to look at him.
"Anguirus?" He asked. This seemed to snap Anguirus out of his trance.
"Yeah... sorry." He said, shaking his head. He followed the others, and they eventually left for Monster Island.

Shatterdome, Japan Location
Meanwhile...

The cell door slid open as Slattern stepped in. Muto was already in the cell, sitting on the bed. She didn't look up, but she knew Slattern was there. A sinister grin spread across Slattern's face.
"Are you ready?" She hissed. Muto hesitated for a moment before making a small nod and clenching her fists, which were pressed against her lap. Slattern's grin grew wider.
"Good." She whispered. "Because we're gonna have some fun tonight."
Muto cringed when she said the word "fun". She knew what she meant by it. Slattern had been doing this to her since she began to share her cell, about two months ago. Muto had to endure whatever Slattern wanted almost every night. She had tried to fight back many times, but Slattern always subdued her in some way. Her train of thought was derailed when she felt Slattern kneel behind her on the bed. She felt her clawed hands begin to massage her shoulders, making chills run down her back. She closed her eyes, preparing for whatever Slattern was about to try. She felt her lean her head down next to her ear.
"Let's hope there's not a repeat of last time, hm?" She whispered. Muto could feel her breath in her ear, causing even more chills. She knew what Slattern was referring to. The other night, Muto fought back against Slattern's advances. She had almost gotten away, until Slattern attacked and nearly killed her. Again, her memories were interrupted as she felt Slattern's lizard-like tongue glide up the side of her face. She felt so many emotions at once; fear, anger, humiliation, and shame to name a few. A loud knocking on the steel door interrupted Slattern's assault. Muto gasped and opened her eyes, realizing there was a Jaeger on the other side of the door. She was about to yell for help, until she felt a hand slap over her mouth.
"Say a word, and I'll slit your pretty little throat." Slattern hissed. Muto believed her, and nodded. As the door unlocked and began to open, Slattern removed her hand from Muto's mouth and stood up. To whoever was about to walk in, things would seem perfectly normal. As Muto guessed, a Jaeger had opened the door. This was Striker Eureka. His armour was a pale blue, and his visor only covered the top half of his face. Muto cleared her throat.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked.
"No, I'm not here for you." Striker replied in his Australian accent. He turned to Slattern. "But you're coming with me."
"Oh? And why's that?" Slattern asked, silently worried that her actions may have caught up with her.
"Muto here is getting a new cellmate, so you're being moved." Striker explained. He brought out a pair of the heavy-duty hand cuffs used at the Shatterdome. Slattern glanced at Muto as Striker put the cuffs on her.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye, Muto." She said. "Don't worry. I'm sure we'll meet again."
Muto gulped, but managed a fake smile. "I'm looking foreword to it." She lied. Then Slattern was gone. She walked out of the cell, and as far as Muto cared, out of her life. Striker handed Slattern to another Jaeger, Crimson Typhoon, to walk her to her new cell. Owing to his name, his armour was a bright red. Most of the Jaegers and Kaiju alike knew his hatred for all Kaiju, not just the ones from the breach. As he lead Slattern away, Muto turned to Striker.
"So who's my new room mate?" She asked. Striker checked the notes on his clipboard.
"Says here his name is..." He began. "Oh... looks like someone you're familiar with."
"What? Who is it?" Muto asked.
Rather than answering, Striker showed her the clipboard. Muto's eyes widened as she saw who her new cell mate was going to be. On the clipboard was a picture of Godzilla.
