Ch. 9 The Zoo

Niall's POV

"Are you coming to Ireland for Christmas?" my mum asked. "Of course!" I said, "Me and Ellie." "Great!" mum said, "I'm so excited to meet her!" "I miss you, mum," I said. "Me too, Niall," she replied. "Goodbye," I said. "See you soon," she said before hanging up. I smiled as I put the phone down.

I walked downstairs to see that Ellie had woken up. "Hi, Nialler," she said. She was texting someone on the phone. "Who are you texting?" I asked. "Zayn and Liam," she told me. I put my head down. "I understand," I whispered, "You like them more than me." "No I don't!" she yelled as she ran over to hug me. "I love you the most, daddy," she said. "Cool," I replied, "By the way, we are going to my mum's for Christmas." "Okay!" she said, happily. I smiled. "I'm happy that you are happy," I told her as I picked her up.

"So," she said, "What did you plan today?" I shrugged as I patted my hair. It was huge! She laughed and mussed up my hair. "Volumptious," she told me. I smiled. "What does that mean?" I asked. "Huge and eighties," she told me. Well, I know a new word now. "Volumptious," I repeated. I ran to the bathroom to so my hair.

She was right. It was huge and puffy. I washed it quickly and gelled it a little. I walked out of the bathroom to see my beautiful daughter. "Can we go to the zoo?" she asked. I nodded. "Some Ellie and Niall time," I said. She nodded and smiled. I toom her into her room to pack a small bag.

"Can you straighten my hair?" she asked. Dear lord help me. "Ummm...sure," I said. I picked up the hot iron and put it through her long hair. It was beautiful straight. I finished in a few minutes. "Thank you, Niall," she said, "Now let's go!"

Ellie's POV

"Yeah!" he shouted as we sped down the highway. "Let's go!" I yelled. "Wooo!" we screamed as we sang to the song on Niall's One Direction cd. "Midnight memories!" he sang and then we both sang, "Wo-ah-oh-oh-ohhh." It was the most fun car ride I have ever been on.

"We're here!" he shouted when we arrived. I was about to hop out of the car when Niall handed me a pair of England flag sunglasses. "They'll come to a lot of use," he said, "With the flashes." I nodded. "Zayn made me use his when we left the hospital," I told him. He smiled as I put them on. "Let's go get some good pictures," he exclaimed.

I smiled as we walked out together. "Niall!" some girls screamed, "Are you dating anyone?" He smiled. "I'm in a long term relationship with raising my daughter, though that may sound stupid." "Not at all," they said. Creepy. We walked into the zoo.

We walked around and looked at each animal. "Monkeys!" Niall screamed as we saw the monkey house. I rolled my eyes and laughed as we walked in.

He danced around and screamed, "Monkeys monkeys monkeys!" I laughed as I danced with him. Niall was about ready to explode by the time we got to the monkey habitats.

They were so cute. "I'm a monkey!" Niall shouted as he copied the monkeys. It was pretty funny. I fell on the ground laughing just as a man approached us. Niall stopped going crazy as I sat up.

"Niall," he said, "You should have told me that you were going out." "Tom," he whined, "I rented the place out." "I know," he said, "But I would atleast like you to tell me, just in case you run into something." "Okay," Niall said, "I will. Now leave!" He left us and we went to the different animals.

"Who was that?" I asked him. "Our bodyguard," he said, "Tom." "Okay," I told him, smiling. We walked around for hours before leaving.

The paparazzi were absolutely crazy then. "Smile pretty for us, Ellie," the one man screamed. I rolled my eyes and blew them a kiss. I almost tripped on something, so Niall flung me onto his back and ran me to the car.

"That was the most fun trip that I have ever been on!" I shouted. "I figured it would be," he said, smiling. "We haven't been on tour yet!" I smiled really hard. "I'm going on tour with you?" "Of course!" he shouted, "What would I do without you! I'd be miserable!" I smiled. "I love you, daddy," I told him as he sang to me.
