Ellie's POV
Ahhh...nature. Birds singing. Green grass growing. Trees full of beautiful leaves in hues of ruby red, amber, and bright green.
But I saw something elseSnow. Snow Everywhere. That is what I woke up too. And I most definetly wasn't happy.
We are talking dying weather people! Its getting serious now! I had no clue what the heck I was going to do? I ran around for an hour wondering what to do.
I had to find a store.
And I couldn't stop until I found one.Oh god. I ran farther and farther north. I had to keep checking the trees for moss to make sure that I was going the right way. Moss only grows on the north side of trees. I suppose that is what I get after living in the woods for three weeks. The fact that it was November and my birthday was coming quick only made things worse.
I wanted to spend it with Niall again. I wanted to hug him until we both cried of happiness. I wanted to stuff our faces until we couldn't eat another bite. Have fun until we fell asleep because we couldn't move again. Those were the days. Those were the days.
But most of all, I wanted to tell him that he was perfect in every way. I didn't ever want him to change a single thing. I even liked the things that he didn't like. Like his teeth. And his legs. Everything that he hated made him who he was, and that was the best person that I knew. The one and only Niall Horan.
And he was absolutely perfect and irriplacable in every single way. No one could tell him otherwise. And that was one of the best parts about him. No one could change his happy disposition.
Except me, sadly. I so wished that it wasn't true, but hey, I can't help that he adopted me and that I loved him more than life itself. That wasn't any of our faults.
I suddenly came to a clearing. It wasn't London, but it was a small town. With stores! I hadn't been that happy ever since I escaped! I ran to a Nandos first.
I stepped inside the warm heated building. It was like a breath of fresh air. A weight off of my shoulders. I smiled at the waitress. "Hello," I said. "What would you like today?" she asked. I had three hundred dollars. I was going to make this fun. "Three orders of Peri-Peri chicken and a water please," I said. She smiled back, pretending that it wasn't weird. "That will be forty nine dollars and fifty eight cents," she said. I handed her a fifty and she walked away to have my order made.
She came back and I ate it in a few minutes. I had never eaten that fast in my entire life. I was so full that I couldn't force myself to eat another bite. I left a tip and walked to a department store.
I expertly picked out every item I bought. A double layer coat, insulated gloves, long socks, a wool hat, a ski mask, snow boots, ponytails, and double layer snow pants. I needed to be prepared for however long it would take to get to London, especially considering that I had no clue where I was.
I went to the checkout. "That will be one hundred dollars and seventy sux cents," the cashier said. I smiled and handed her three fifties. She handed me my change and I walk back to the trail.
I pulled on my new clothes. Everything felt so warm and new, it was the only new clothes that I had gotten in almost a year. I remember the first time that I realized that Niall had bought me new clothes. And all in my size. The thought made me want to cry.
But I had to be strong. I had atleast another month or two until I made it to London, my pot of gold. I couldn't go fluffy, I had to be as strong as I had been almost my entirw life. I didn't always have a peachy life.
But I was almost there, and that was all that mattered.
