Okay, right after this chapter, the excitment begins!

Ellie's POV

I took my snow clothes off that morning. They were only making me slower and it wasn't snowing anymore. I was sweating like a cow.

I was left in my sweatpants and football sweatshirt and you could see my tank clearly underneath of it because of how ripped it was.

It was freaking January and I was still on the run. I swear, people go on these 5Ks and the only take one day. I have been walking in for atleast three months! Where the heck was that man's house at?

I continued anyway, giving up was in the past now. I had to fight what my brain, heart, and stomach were saying. If I stepped out of the forest, my "dad" could find me. If I stayed in, I would be safe and sound until I got to hungry to live anymore.

I yearned for the moment when I would see the big sign that said "Welcome to London!" That sign would mean that I haven't wasted my time. That my strength beat my weakness. That Niall was just around the corner.

That was all the motivation that I needed.

Niall's POV

"Harry, it is almost her birthday," I said. Just fifteen more days before my baby turned thirteen. "I know, but we can't lose hope," he replied. Harry was the only one that I could talk about Ellie at this point. Everyone else would cry and lose it, and so would I.

"Harry, it has almost been a year," I said. "We can't give up if she doesn't," Harry said, sternly. He believed that Ellie would come home more than anyone.

"Niall," he said, "You know how you have been going to church more recently. " "Yes," I said, "And your point is." "Well, I went the other day," he said, "And guess what the priet said." I pondered at it for a little while. "What?" I asked, giving up. "Belief is all that is needed," he said.

I burst into tears as I looked down at my bracelet. Belief is all that is needed. Ellie gave us all one and none of us had taken it off ever since she went missing. "Thanks, Harry," I said. I hung the phone up because I didn't want him to hear me cry. I was supposed to be strong.

I held my dog tags in my hand gently and tangled them around my fingers. Everything about them reminded me of Ellie and how amazing she was. She truley had changed me for the better. I was only half of who I used to be without her. With her, I was a more responsible, wise man. She made me a better person.

"Come home to me, love," I whispered to the roof. I felt quite stupid about it because I knew that she couldn't see or hear me. "What the hell, I'm going crazy," I whispered. I felt like the old neighbor man that all the kids made fun of. I didn't know how I would survive the tour. How could I sing the story of my life with losing it.

Ellie's POV

I walked a little farther only until I saw a clearing. I peeked out to see none other than a huge signed that said, "Welcome to London!"

I was so overjoyed that I went up, hugged it, and cried. It was one of the most beautiful things that I had ever seen in my entire life. It meant that Niall was so close. I just had a few more miles. I started to run.
