Ch. 16 Getting Out

Niall's POV

We left the hospital three days later. Ellie walked out with me, hand in hand. We smiled to the paparazi for once as we made our way to the limo.

"Thank God that's over," Ellie groaned. I laughed. "I do agree," I said. She smiled. "I'm just happy that you are okay." "Me too," I laughed. We walked out of the car into the house to see Liam and Louis.

"Hey, Niall!" Louis said, giving me a man hug. "Hi Ellie," Liam said as he hugged my daughter, obviously seeing that she felt left out. I felt horrible, but Louis didn't quite think that I was ready for a child.

"So, are you ready to have a dinner?" Liam asked, "Custom cooked by our absent brother, Hazza Bear." Louis gestured to the table were there was a dessert bar. "Oh, Hazza," I said. "Everyone knows that the way to your heart is food," Liam said. We all laughed because we knew that it couldn't have been said better.

I got first dibs. "Let me see here," I said as I chose his food. I got five cookies, a bowl of ice cream and toppings, and a slice of vanilla cake.

We all got the same thing and ate every last bite. "Compliments to the chef!" Louis said. "Agreed," we all said. The food was more than amazing. I couldn't complain, especially after eating so much hospital food.

"How about we watch the one direction movie, so that you can get to know us better," Liam suggested. "What do you think, Niall?" Ellie asked. asked. "I say, let's watch my movie again!" I said. Louis popped it in the dvd player and we all sat down.

It was great at first, and then Louis came on. "I apologize for my audition, and I hope that no one puts it on the movie," he said. Then, they showed his audition. We were laughing our heads off from the time it started from the time it stopped.

"Oh lord," Louis said, "I regret it all." "You shouldn't," I said, "But you truley could have done better with that singing and your hair." We burst out laughing, but then Liam's second audition came on.

It gives me goosebumps every time. He sang, "Cry me a river," like a fucking God. "Liam, my friend, don't you dare show your girlfriend this movie," I told him. "She wants me to, and I know that my amazing voice will make her cry," he said. There was a huge grin spreading across his face. "And you will love it," I said. He nodded.

Ellie seemed as though she was trying to capture every bit of information. "You studying, because there is a test when it is over," I told her. She laughed. "Its always fun to learn about you guys," she said, "Its so strange to imagine what my life would be like without you all." I smiled. "I love you, baby," I told her. I picked her up and put her in bed.

"You should never imagine what your life would be like without me, because I love you. Fate brought us together and not even fate can split us apart. No matter what happens, I will love you and you will always be mine," I told her as I pulled the dog tags from under her shirt that read, "Ellie Horan, loved, parented, hugged, and housed by Niall Horan. E+N=The Beautiful, Happy, Guitar Family." She smiled as I sang to her.

I went back downstairs. "Niall?" Louis said. I walked down to see what he wanted. "Yeah, lad?" I asked. He sighed as he sat down and motioned for me to sit too. I sat down and looked at him.

"What's up?" I asked. "Lad, I feel like everytime someone turns around, either you or Ellie are hurt. You need to learn to be a better parent."

Uh, hell to the no. "The only thing that happened to her that was my fault was the thing with Katie, Louis!" I shouted. "Shhh," he said. I looked to Liam for backup, but he was fast asleep. "You need to get better, or let her go," he said.

My heart dropped when I heard the words, "Let her go." I felt tears sting my eyes. It was like a slap across the face. Instead of blowing up, I breathed in and out.

"Maybe you would understand if you knew what it was like to love a child," I replied, calmly. I turned around and walked to my room, leaving Louis in the dust.

I woke up early to make breakfast for everyone, including Louis. I stayed up almost all that night thinking about what happened, and I decided to let it go. After all, we are like brothers, and I could never stay mad at any of them.

I took out a pan and sprayed it as I sang quietly. I dumped some pancake mix in a bowl and began to stir. "Love that song," a voice behind me said. I jumped and turned around so quickly. I forgot that I was holding a pan and it went crashing to the ground. It made a loud clanging noise.

The first thing that either of us could do is laugh. We laughed hard and long before Louis spoke up. "Was your goal to wake up everyone?" he asked, "Because I'd say that you accomplished it." I turned around to see Ellie skipping down the stairs and Liam barely making his way down them, still half asleep. We all laughed at him as he layed on the couch and turned on the tv.

We ate breakfast together before Liam and Louis announced that they had to leave.
