Ch. 12 Christmas

Ellie's POV

"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" Niall shouted as he picked me up in the air and shook me. "What?" I asked. I was so tired. "What time is it?" I asked. "Six thirty," he replied. "What the heck?" I asked, "What has gotten into you, lad?" "Christmas, that's what," he sassed. "You are quite the parent," I told him. "I know," he told me, smiling. "What are we waiting for," I asked him, "Let's go get our presents!"

I ran downstairs ahead of Niall only to see that everyone was waiting for me. "Let's go!" Denise said. I sat down beside Denise and Niall to open my presents. I hadn't been that excited in forever.

"We give a present to everyone and we all open them at the same time," he said. We each got our first present handed to us by Niall's mum and as soon as everyone had one, we opened them up. "Cool!" I shouted, "Ugg boots!" Niall smiled at my reaction. "I thought that you would like them," he said. I nodded as I got handed a surplus of presents.

"You are the kid, so you get more presents since most kids your age still believe in Santa Claus and get a ton of presents," Denise told me. "Oh," I said. I held the next present and opened it. It was an ipad. "Thank you, Niall!" I shouted as I hugged him. "Keep going," he urged.

My next package was from Greg and Denise. It had four $25 gift cards for stores at the shops back in London. "We didn't know what to get you, so we decided to let you choose," Greg explained. "Thank you," I said as I walked over to hug them too.

I had five gifts left. I decided to open Niall's mum's gift next. I carefully ripped the packaging open to find a diamond necklace. "I love it," I told her as I went over to hug her too, "Thank you!" "Your welcome, sweetheart," she replied.

I opened yet another gift from Niall. "Nail polish!" I said as I looked at the bucket full of nail polishes. "I figured that you would want some since girls alway paint their nails," he said. "Yeah," I told him.

The next gift was a blue pair of really nice earbuds and an earphone jack charm for my iPhone. Then, I opened a box with two otterboxes for my iPad.

The very last gift, however, was special. It was wrapped in purple and blue sparkly wrapping paper and I could feel fabric inside. I ripped it open slowly, being careful not to damage what was inside.

"A dress and heels?" I asked, curiously as I looked at the short, navy blue dress with fake diamonds and the diamond Jimmy Choo stilettoes. "For any formal occasion that we happen to go to, like the Brits" he told me. "I get to go to the Brits?" I asked. He nodded and I felt my eyes widen. I watched the Brits every year in the adoption center, but I never would have imagined getting to go to them. "Thank you so much!" I shouted as I jumped into his arms. "Awww, I love you too, Ellie," he said. "I'm so happy that I finally have a family," I told them. They all smiled as we walked to the table for breakfast.

"We have to fly back late today for the iheart radio party for the realease of Midnight Memories," Niall told me. "Alright," I said. "We have to have dinner early, then," Niall's mum said. Greg and Niall fist bumped. We ate our waffles and talked for hours.

"Where is the party?" I asked him. "America," he said. I had never gone to America before, the thought of going to a party and meeting new people excited me. "Cool," I said.

We went skiing from nine to twelve. It was so much fun flying down the hills on skis. Niall and Denise tumbled and fell constantly, and me and Greg were like pros. We went off every jump at the resort.

When we got home, Niall's mum set out our dinner. "Eat up," she said. We ate as fast as we could so that we would have to time say our goodbyes.

"Bye, Ellie," they all said. "Bye, I'll miss you!" I said. Niall and I walked to the car silently.

"I told you that Greg would show up," I teased. "Oh, shoot," he said, "I knew it too." "Whatever," I said as I leaned back and laughed. We found the radio station again and the dj was still playing all one direction. "I said, 'Hey, its all right if it makes you feel alive!' Don't look back, live your life. Even if its only for tonight! I said, 'Hey, its alright, if it makes you feel alive!" we sang.

"Okay," Niall told me in the airport, "I recommend you sleep the whole way there so that you have fun staying up late, okay?" I nodded and we walked onto the private jet. I fell asleep the second that I sat down.

We got there in three hours. "We have to hurry and get ready," Niall told me, "It starts in about three hours and our makeup artist and wardrobe people need to see both of us." I nodded as we walked to the rental car place and quickly got and car and sped down the road.

"We're here," he announced as soon as we got there. We hopped out of the car and ran through the parking lot. "Shit," he said, "We're late." We ran faster into the building and into the wardrobe room and shut the door.

"I'm here," Niall announced. "Its about time!" Louis said, "You are so lucky that Si is stuck in traffic. Now get dressed!" I got dressed quite quickly and easily. I could tell that Louis was mad by the tone of his voice. They were all wearing mu bracelets but him, too. I was fine with him hating me, but he also scared me. I clung to Harry.

"Hi, Ellie," he said. "Hello, Harry," I replied. "Long time, no see, eh?" he asked. I nodded and sat on his lap. Liam moved his chair closer. "Hey, sweetheart," he said, "How was your Christmas?" "I texted you everything, why do you need to know?" I asked, laughing. "Done!" Niall shouted as he jumped out of the dressing room. He slid on his shoes. "Si just pulled in, act like we have been ready forever." I hopped on a chair beside Niall and we all pulled out our phones and pretended to text.

"Hello, lads and Ellie," he said, "Sorry I am late." "Its okay, everyone has those days," Niall said, making the boys laugh. "Whatever," he said, "The show starts in an hour. Hydrate and warm up. Ellie, you can sit right back stage while they perform." I nodded and continued to drink my soda as the boys pulled out water bottles and began to drink them.

No suspense here! I have a very good idea, but it will take a few chapters before it takes its place.
