Ch. 13 The Party

"Midnight memories! Oh-ah-oh-oh-ohh," Liam sang. "You ready?" I asked him. He nodded as him, Niall, and Louis warmed up. They sang multiple songs before Zayn and Harry joined in. The jumped and sang a little before it was time to line up backstage.

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, the way you smile at the ground it ain't hard..." he breathed and got quite mad at himself. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I keep breathing in the wrong place," he explained. "Well," I said, "Take a deep breath in before you do about it and think about it before you sing it." He smiled. "I'll practice that," he told me. "Ladies and gentlemen, One Direction!" the host shouted. "Or I'll just try it there," he said as he made a face. They all hopped out on stage happily.

I loved how they sang their hearts out. It was beautiful. I enjoyed every second of their singing, as always. Then, Niall took out his guitar.

I got pretty excited about it. "Yeah!" I shouted along with the rest of the audience. He looked at me and smiled. I stuck my tongue out, making him laugh.

Niall played the song that we sang together in the car, midnight memories. I love that song. I smiled as he played it flawlessly.

Then, after a quick commericial break, the song that Harry was worried about. What makes you beautiful. He looked over at me quickly. I put both my thumbs up and smiled, like a stage mom. He laughed quickly and turned back to the audience. The began the song.

Harry looked at me right before his solo. He took a deep breath in and began. "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, the way you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell." He did it. He look at me and I mouthed, 'You did it,' quickly before he turned around and began to sing again.

"Well, that is all we have for you all tonight," the host said, "That was the midnight memories album release party, until next time, one direction!" The crowd cheered and the program ended.

Harry went over to me and picked me up and smiled. "Thank you, for everything," he said. "You are great," I told him, "You just needed a little push to start yourself." "That was you," he said, "You are like my mother," he replied. I laughed as Niall took my hand and hugged me. "You were great, daddy," I told him. "Thank you," he whispered, "You ready to get your party on?" "Heck yeah," I told him. We walked into the limo and drove to a real party.

We were greeted there by someone immediatly. "Perrie!" Zayn yelled. "Hey, babe," she said, smiling at his child-like actions. "You're home early," he said. "Not really," she said, "One of our concerts was cancelled, but that's about it." "Whatever, I missed you, and now you're here, That's all that matters," he said. "Now, let's party!"

We ran inside and everyone there cheered. "To the VIP section," Louis said, trying to sound like superman. We walked back to the VIP section loudly.

"Who wants a shot?" a man yelled. All of the lads raised their hands. It was a little awkward, I just stood there silently. "And a pepsi for the little lady," he said. I nodded as he handed it to me. I took a drink of it instantly.

Harry walked back with a girl. "Hey lads," he said, "This is Maya." We all waved to the ditsy blonde as she sat down beside Harry. I was pretty sure that I knew what they came to do. "Use 'em and lose 'em," I whispered, and then I looked around to make sure that no one was listening.

Niall sat beside me. I was happy to see that he didn't lack the usual glitter in his eye, which meant he wasn't drunk. "Hey, love," he said, "Are you enjoying yourself?" I shrugged. "Its okay," I replied. I was actually bored out of my mind. "Let's dance," he suggested, "After all, you and I are the only two people without a partner tonight." I got up and we danced.

"This great!" I shouted, right before all of the power went out and a gun shot rang into the air. "Oh God," Niall breathed. We all ran into a food closet and locked the door.

Each of us turned our phones on and stayed silent. Zayn and Perrie were making out, Liam was shaking in fear, Louis was texting his girlfriend, Harry was sitting in a corner by himself rocking back and forth, Maya had left us a long time ago, and Niall and I held each other tight. "It will be okay," he assured me, but he didn't even convince himself, much less the other people in the room.

Someone knocked on the door. He had a really nasty voice, and he was with Maya. "We are dead," Harry mouthed. "We are going to fake them out," Louis replied, "Everyone move to the side of the closet as quickly and quietly as possible. "They are in here," she said, "Shot at it and don't stop until you hear all five of them fall. "Perrie, Ellie, hide in the coats," Louis said. We obeyed his command and hugged each other tight.

Louis grabbed some ketsup and squeezed it on the floor. The first shot rang out. Louis punded on the ground and layed down. He winked at us. The next three shots "hit" Zayn, Liam, and Harry. However, the last shot got to Niall.

It rang through the air, loud and clear. I watched as Niall fell to the ground and moaned. Perrie had to cover my mouth to block my screams. "No," I whispered. Maya and the man looked through the bullet holes at the fallen boys. "Ew," Maya said, "We sure got 'em."

"Not so fast," an officer said. When the man pulled a gun on the officer, the officer shit them both, killing them. "Open the door," he said. Louis got up and opened the door. All the boys stood up, including Niall, and Perrie and I got out of our hiding spots. I ran and hugged Niall. "You're okay," I said, "Not really," he groaned. I looked down and screamed at what I saw.

I did two today because I realized that I have school tomorrow :(. It will be okay though, I'll update when I can if you do four things.
