Ellie's POV

I woke up that morning in the arms of both Niall and Zayn. They were both still asleep. Niall still looked slightly upset, but he obviously managed to pull himself together. "Wake up," I whispered, shaking them both. They did wake up eventually, but they were both groggy.

"Coffee, Zayn," Niall said. Zayn got up obidiently, not wanting to make Niall start crying again. "Hi, Niall," I whispered, snuggling up to him. "Hi, baby," he said as I began petting his hair. "Hurry, Zayn," he said, "I'm taking my baby home today." Zayn smiled. "Got it," he said as he handed the disposable coffee cup to Niall. "Let's ride into the sunset!" Niall shouted as he forced me onto his back and ran outside with me.

He dropped me in the car and sat in the front seat. "Are we going to your favorite restaurant today?" I asked. He nodded. "I don't break my promises," he said. We drove home together, laughing the whole way.

He picked me up again when we got there and took me inside. "Guess what?" he said. "What?" I asked him. "You're it!" he yelled as he ran around the house. "I'll get your little Irish butt!" I screamed, runnunig toward him. "It isn't nice to be racist!" he yelled back to me. "Oh well!" I screamed, "At least I don't obsess over potatoes!" He stopped in his tracks. "You take that back," he said in a dark voice. "Make. Me," I challenged him. He threw me to the floor and began tickling me. "Okay, okay!" I yelled, "You win! Potatoes are amazing!" He laughed. "Good," he said.

"So," I said, "Anything that you want to talk about?" "Yes, actually," he said, "I would love to hear you play guitar." I smiled. "Okay," I replied as I picked my favorite guitar from his collection. "What will we play?" he asked, holding up his guitar. "Dust in the wind," I told him. "You can play that?" he asked. I nodded and began to play.

He sang right on que with my music. It was beautiful, a perfect mix of my guitar playing, his guitar playing, and his singing.

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind

When we finished, he began crying. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I love you, sweetheart," he said, "You can't even imagine how lucky I feel." "I feel very lucky too," I told him, "I finally have a parent that loves me." I hugged him as tight as I could. "I love you, Niall," I said. "I love you too," he replied.

We went out for dinner after that. "Can you guess where we are going?" he asked. "I don't know," I said. He laughed as we pulled into a restaurant called Nando's.

"Nando's?" I asked. "Yeah," he told me, "You've never heard of it?" "Nope," I replied as I jumped out of the car. "You'll love it, then," he said. We walked in together as the small family that we were.

He pulled a card out of his pocket as we sat down. A waitress immediatly came over. "Hello, Mr. Horan," she said with a smile. "Hi, Christine," he said, "Two plates of Peri-Peri Chicken please, and make them extra good. This is my adopted daughter, Ellie. She has never been here before." I waved to the waitress and smiled. "We'll make sure of it, Niall," she said as she walked away.

"Sounds delicious," I said to Niall. "It is," he said, "I could get fat from eating all of this." He licked his lips at the smell of the food. "I'm excited to try it," I told him as I smiled. It was getting quite hard to contain my excitement. "I see," he said, "So am I. You better get used to this because I like to go to Nando's once a week." I laughed as the lady brought our food in.

I took one look at it before shoving a forkful in my mouth. The flavor bursted on my tongue as I chewed it. I couldn't help but moan as I tasted it.

I looked up at Niall who was already half way finished. "Like it?" he asked with his mouth full. "Its amazing!" I replied, though it didn't sound like that. We both laughed as we finished our meals.

"That was the best food I have ever had!" I said. He nodded. "Nando's rocks!" he told me. We got up and left right after that.

He drove me home in his sports car with the top down. We drove past all of the holiday lights. They were all amazing, I was delighted by each and every one of them. "You like the Christmas lights?" he asked. I nodded. "Yeah," I told him. "Christmas is in one weeks," he said, "It's pretty exciting." I smiled as I continued to watch the lights.

We got home around seven. "So," Niall asked, "What wouod you like for Christmas, anyway?" "Nothing," I said, "All I ever wanted was a parent, and here you are!" He smiled as a tear ran down his face. "Me too," he said, "All I ever needed was somebody to love me." I smiled. "Aren't we quite the pair," I said. "Yup!" he shouted, "We both like Nando's, we both love each other, we both hate Katie, and we both like playing guitar!" I laughed at him. "And some other things," he whispered. He carried me to bed and sang to me softly.
