Hey! I'm not dead! So yeah, here's the update. I hope you guys like it!

"I'm looking for an antidote," I said gruffly. The voice that exited my body sounded nothing like the one that usually did, due to the spell I'd cast. If Rumple knew who I was he'd never help me. I came to this god forsaken town in search of one man. A man I'd known for a very long time. Let's just say we had an... interesting history.

"What, sort of Antidote, would that be then," he asked with a sort of giggle. He disgusted me. I had no idea how he'd turned into this... this thing. I probably had something to do with it... well, everything to do with it.

"A cure for a curse. I know someone, who was stabbed with a cursed blade, and I want to heal them, but I can't quite... figure it out... I thought maybe you'd have an answer. You're knowledge of these things is... vast." "Who are you, stranger? Surely you'd think if I were going to help you, I'd want to know who you were." "That, is none of your concern." I answered, annoyed. Now do you have an answer, or not?" "Testy," he laughed again, "Yes, Dearie, I can indeed help you, but you should know, all magic comes with a price." Why did he always seem so giddy? "Yes, yes I know that. Just tell me what I need to do." "Well, it's simple really, true love's kiss" he laughed, "It can cure any curse, as long as the one who cast it isn't her true love, which would indeed result in some very nasty relationship issues." Once again, he laughed that stupid giggle, and I was tempted to strangle him right then and there. How was that supposed to help me? Was I just supposed to go out in the world and search for Kate's true love? That would take years. By then, well. She could be dead." "Now," he said, "Time for my part of the deal." "Name your price." "What I want is very simple. Simply, your name." I smiled beneath my hood. Now for the fun part. I stood up and faced him, pulling back my hood, as I said, "Honestly, Laddie, haven't you figured that out yet? I could have sworn I taught you better." His features contorted into one of fear and rage. "Get out of my shop." He said through gritted teeth. "What's the matter? I thought you'd be excited to see your dear old da again."

Yes.

This... thing was my son. I wasn't lying when I said I was much older than I looked.

"Get out."

"How's Bae? I'm sure we could have a nice reunion. Maybe he could even come back with me to Neverland. He hates you now, doesn't he? Judging by your actions at our last meeting, I'd say he'd never want to see you again. He's already left, hasn't he? Or did you abandon him, like your father abandoned you?"

"I said. Get out of my shop."

This was very entertaining for me. He knew his powers were no match for mine, and he couldn't do anything about it. No matter how powerful he became, I would always be one step ahead of him.

"As you wish," I said, and with a slight bow and a flourish I was gone.

Kate's POV

"Kate, dear, we have some sad news." "What's the matter mommy?" my six-year-old self asked. "Well, Mommy's sick. She's very sick."

"When are you going to be better?"

She smiled sadly, "I don't know, sweetie, but we're going to try some medicine and see if it works. I just wanted you to know, that after the medicine Mommy's going to look a little different." "How different?" I asked. "Well," she said, "For starters, I'm going to lose all of my hair!" "All of it?" I asked wide eyed. She nodded gravely, "All of it!" she giggled, and I giggled. "That's ok!" I said, "You don't need your hair to make you beautiful!" I meant that. My mom was the most beautiful woman I knew. Her smile was like a warm summer breeze, and her green eyes sparkled with light and happiness. "As long as it makes you better," I added. And she hugged me.
