Chapter 24 ~ Do You Believe?

At first I thought they wouldn’t let me in and slam the door in my face but truth to be told, I was surprise that they opened up their door and let me in. So here I am, sitting in their living room facing Will’s parents and his sister.

“Um, who are you again?” Will’s mother ask.

“I’m Jill.” I introduce politely.

“I don’t mean to be rude but why were you here again?” She asks looking at me with curiosity.

I took a deep breath and sigh. “I know this would sound really…strange but I got a message from your son.”

“From Will?” Will sister looks at me before looking at her parents.

I nod my head and bit the bottom of my lips. How the hell am I going to tell them that I got a message from their dead son?

“It’s alright. Just tell them everything and they’ll listen to you.” Will advice.

I took a deep breath and look at Will’s sister. “Your brother wants all of you to know that he loves you.” I said looking at each of them before looking back to his sister. “He also wants to let you know that you should stop beating yourself up, it wasn’t your fault.”

“Tell them that everything would be alright.” Will said. I nod and repeat what he said.

Will’s family looks at me in shock and mouth wide open. “I know it sound strange but Will is…” I close my eyes and took a deep breath. “Will is here, with us.”

Will’s mum and his sister soon burst out crying while Mr Crawford try to calm his wife and daughter before glaring at me. “What is wrong with you? My son is gone and you try to make joke out of it!” He accuses.

I was taken aback before frowning. “I told you this wouldn’t work.” I mumble to Will as low as I can.

“Well, I never said, they believe you.” Will said sounding a bit guilty.

“You should have at least told me that they’re not a believer!” I hiss under my breath.

“Oh, I forgot.” Will let out nervous chuckles as he scratches the back of his neck.

“Will you stop talking to yourself and show yourself out of my house!” Mr Crawford yelled. “And don’t ever come back!”

I sigh, getting off the sofa and made my way out. “Tell them that during summer last year we went to Spain and they pulled a prank at my ex, Monica.”

I sigh and debate if I should do it or not.

I bite my bottoms lips unsure as I turn around and look at Will’s family. “Will said that last year you all went to Spain and pull of a prank at his ex, Monica.”

I watch as his family all looks at me in surprise, there mouth wide open. They didn’t say anything after that.

I was about to show myself out when a voice stops me. “What…what else did he say?” Will sisters choked out between sob.

“Amelia?” Mrs Crawford said, shocked. “You actually believe her?”

“Well…” Amelia trails off looking at the floor before looking at her parents. “No one knew about that prank except us and well…Will.” She looks at me with a small smile. “What did we do to Monica?”

I smile and giggle as I listen to Will explains what they done to his ex. “He said you change the content of Monica’s shampoo with green paint.”
