Chapter 18

Andrew's POV
I walked out of the room and got my phone out and ended up calling my parents
"Hello" my mom said on the other line
"Hey mom" I said and she spoked up
"What's going on?" She asked and I took a breath
"She went into pre mature labor, ended up having to deliver the baby, she gave birth to a boy, but he is not breathing on his so they have him the NICU" I said and she spoked up
"How are you holding up" she asked and I found myself looking through the window where the NICU is and I could see my son
"I'm hanging in there" I said and she spoked up
"So how's Lisa?" She asked and I took a deep breath
"She's hanging in there too, though she is torn up" I said
"Yeah, the kids have been asking for you guys" she said and I kinda smiled
"Well Lisa is gonna be in here for a few days and everything so the doctors can keep a eye on her and the baby" I said
"Well, tell Lisa that we love her and we are thinking of you guys, I love you, and let me know when I can bring the kids, they really miss their mom and dad" she said
"You can bring the kids to see her tomorrow, Lisa really needs it, but tonight is not a good time" I said
"Alright, that's fine, I'll let you go" she said
"Okay see you later" I said and hung up and kept looking through the window, he looks so hopeless in there, with all those cords hooked up to him and I felt a hand on shoulder which caught off my thoughts and I turned around to see Mike
"You okay Andrew?" He asked and I just looked at him
"I don't know if I can do this anymore" I said as I took my fingers and rub my eyes as I was getting ready to cry
"Listen, you're doing great okay?" He said and I just shook my head
"I feel pathetic" I said and he gave me a stern look
"No...no you are not, don't even think that" he said and he spoked up once more
"Look it's hard, I know it's hard, but you gotta stay strong alright" he said looking at me
"How can I stay strong, it taking a lot, just look at him" I said and he turned me away
"Hey if there's anyone I know that can pull through this, it's you, and you gotta stay strong for not only yourself, but you need to stay strong for Lisa, she needs you right now" He said and I just my back against the wall and closed my eyes
"Take a deep breath, like I said you're doing great, you're being so strong, you should be proud of yourself" He said as he rubbed my shoulders and then pat my back
"Thanks Mike" I said and he ended up hugging me and I ended up going back to the room and I seen Lisa and Lynne  and they both looked at me and Lynne came up and hugged me
"I'll leave you two alone" she said and then she walked out and I just went and engulfed Lisa into a hug, and she hugged me back, this  is what we both needed, and she started crying and I just held her tight, only thing you hear is her sobs in the room and I had a tear going down my face..
"I don't know what will happen, but I will promise you that I will always be here no matter what okay? We have each other, even though we are going through the toughest time we will get through this" I said as I was still holding her and I kissed her temple
"I love you" she said as she calmed down and rested her head on my chest
"I love you too" I said and kissed her cheek and I just held her....it was late..Lisa is trying so hard  asleep...we are both so exhausted...but the rook stayed silent, and I closed my eyes and prayed....

"I don't know why we are going through this, I don't know what  to think, did we do anything to do deserve this? We have 4 other kids who is happy, and everything, so why now? Why wait now to make us go through something like this? I mean...I know I made mistakes...but Lisa..she's a great mother...she's a great women who did nothing to nobody and she is definitely one of the strongest people I know..sometimes too strong for her own good..so if you don't do it me, please do it for her if anything, or do it for our twins boys who's been dying for a baby brother who could look up to them , do it for Hunter who was over the moon for a younger sibling so she could play with them or do it for Isabelle so she can understand what it like to have a younger sibling and look after them....god please if you can give us anything...just pleased ...please give us a miracle.... Amen"
I said and I felt a hand intertwined with mine and it was Lisa's, she heard every word I said, but yet didn't say nothing..but we both know we want a miracle
