Chapter 32

Lisa's POV
I gave the kids their showers and everything, and now it's Addison turn, and I turned around to look at her because she was standing at the doorway
"Hey Addison, are you ready for a bath?" I asked her and she just shook her head
"Please, hun we need to get you cleaned up" I said and she just shook her and I got up and she got scared
"Honey don't be scared" I said and she looks at me
"Are you gonna hit me?" She asked scared  and I just look at her
"No I would never, why would you think that?" I asked and she just looked at me terrified and she didn't say nothing
"Okay, please let's take a bath" I said and she finally caved in and I took off the shirt she had on and I noticed her back has a huge bruise,  and there was a bruise on her side and another one on her shoulder and I decided to ask her
"Addison can I ask you a question?" I asked her and she looked at me
"Now I need you to be honest with me okay?" I asked and she nodded
"Did your parents hit you?" I asked and she looked at me and then looked down and she looked up
"Addison I understand that it's scary because you don't know me, but please, tell me did they hurt you" I asked and she started crying
"Yea" she said and I just looked at her, how could someone hurt such a innocent little girl, I don't get it, and I just looked at her
"Now I want you to listen to me, don't ever think I will hit you, okay, I promise you, you're safe here" I said and she looked at me
"Thank you Weesa" she said and she just hugged me, we got her bath done, and laid her with the girls, and I walked back into mine and Andrew's room and I looked at him
"She can't go back" I said and he looked at me confused
"Addison, she can't go back to her parents" I said and he looked at me
"Why?" He said
"I just gave her a bath, she freaked out because she thought I was gonna hit her, and when she got in the the tub, she had bruises all over here, and they are not accidental, and she said that her parents hit her" I said and I could tell he was angry, kids being hurt are his weakness
"They better hope I don't see them" he said and I looked at him
"Andrew, we need to make sure that she at least gets into somewhere safe, and back with her parents, it's not safe" I said and he took a breath
"Well she can't go to the group home! It's too dangerous" he said and I nodded as I went and laid down and rested my head on his shoulder
"I'm gonna call the cops tomorrow, we will figure out something" he said and I took a breath
"I hope"
