Chapter 27

Lisa's POV
It's Christmas! The kids had been so exited for Santa, We got woke up by all the kids except Micah coming on our bed
"Mommy santa came!" Hunter said jumping on the bed and Isabelle came on top of me
"Momma" she said shaking me and I just smiled and Ryan and Jacob got on the bed
"Come on mom" Jacob said shaking me and I just laughed
"Wake up your dad" I said and Andrew was sound asleep and Isabelle jumped on him
"Daddy wake up" she said and he woke up
"Why" he mumbled
"Santa came daddy!" Hunter said
"Well we can wait til noon" he said jokingly as he laid back down and I laughed
"Nooo!" All the kids whined and he laughed
"Alright fine, fine, lets go" he said as we all got up and I walked over to Micahs room and picked him up from his crib
"Lets go" I said as I kissed his cheek and took him downstairs and we all walked downstairs and all the kids seen their presents and got all excited and started going through them, and we just smiled
"They're so happy" I said and he smiled
"Mommy look santa got me a easy bake oven" Hunter said all excited...then they opened their presents from us, they all got so much stuff, not too long after opening our floor was full of trainsets, dolls, arts and craft stuff, Micah got a train he could sit and ride on, Isabelle got a new Barbie play house, Hunter got a new karaoke machine, Ryan got a new baseball bat and glove, and we got Jacob a guitar, they were all so happy with what they got but little did they know we got one more presents for them, the kids has basically been begging for a pet, but with the kids being so little me and Andrew didn't think it was a good idea, but now that Micah is 2 years old, we think now it would be good for them, so yesterday, Andrew went and got a baby kitten and kept it at his mom's house so he went and got it this morning and we decided to give to them now and Andrew walked outside
"Okay guys we have one more surprise" I said and they all looked at me
"What is it!?" They all asked excited and got really excited
"Now calm down, your dad is going to get it" I said and they sit down and Andrew came in with a big box and sit it in front of them
"Now open it" I said while I was video taping and they opened and Hunter got all excited
"NO WAY!" She said and picked it up and Isabelle yelled
"A kitty!" She said and the boys looked at me smiling
"Are you guys happy?" I asked and they all nodded and I looked at Micah
"Micah, what do you think?" I asked and he got excited
"You like the kitty" I said and he smiled real big
"Her name is mittens" Andrew said and they all admired her and I smiled and Andrew left and came back inside with another box
"Now guys this is for you and mommy" he said and he sit the box in front of me
"Open it lise" he said excited and video tape me
"Okay, okay" I said and I opened the box and couldn't believe what I saw
"A doggie!" Isabelle said happy and Hunter
"This is the best Christmas ever" Ryan shouted
"No way" I said and it was a Doberman pincher puppy and I lifted him up and he licked my face
"He already likes you" Andrew said and he laughed
"We didn't agree on a dog" I said laughing and he smiled
"You always been wanting one ever since I met you" he said and I laughed and the kids started petting him and also hunter was still holding the cat
"What are you gonna name her" Andrew asked and I looked at the kids
"What do you guys wanna make her?" I asked
"Lucy" Hunter said
"Yeah!" Isabelle said
"I like Lucy" Jacob admitted and I nodded
"Lucy it is" I said and I sit her down while the kids play with her and I looked at Andrew
"You're amazing" I said as I peck his lips and he hugged me
"Merry Christmas" he said
