So here's what happened over buko pie. 😃

As RJ promised, he brought buko pie for Maine which she excitedly received. She was giggling all through out when she ate it. She had three slices. It has been so long since Maine had an authentic southern buko pie which she loved more because aside from it is home made, it was from RJ's Lola. RJ was just happy watching Maine having her fill, and glad she genuinely liked his pasalubong.

They had a catch-up chat about their weekend. Maine told him more about her family, as RJ did the same.

RJ was fascinated with how much Maine loved her family and the devotion she offers to them. She still provides for them even though her ate Nikki is abroad who also sends money to her Nanay monthly. She told him she wants to be independent and try to live alone but still not getting detached from her family. She also shared some of her passion for writing and her dreams over buko pie and coffee.

Maine, on the other hand, became embarrassed when RJ told her his family wants to meet her. Although he meant nothing bad about it, RJ told her that he just brought her name up on one of his conversations with his family, so she thought they were just curious to meet his new friend.
