They knew?
Anong alam nila?
Nicholas left me dumbfounded. Marami akong tanong na gusto kong sagutin niya pero hindi ko na siya naabutan. When I got out kaalis lang ng sasakyan niya. I tried calling him but his phone remained unattended.
I stopped calling him dahil sa tingin ko naman useless lang until last night he's the one who called me.
We didn't really talked so long sinabi niya lang saakin kailan kami bibisita kina mama. Gusto ko sanang magback-out because I don't think I can face them now. This is an embarassment.. like wtf? Me and Nicholas? Oh come on! What would mom and dad say?
Pero wala narin naman akong magagawa eh, nandito na so mas better na ipush ko nalang diba?
"Mom?"
I looked at Dion when he called.
"Hmm?" I answered.
"Dad said its time to eat." He added.
I just nodded. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. Yep! Me and Chiari is not yet okay. Nagtatampo parin siya saakin and also I didn't said sorry. My pride is eating me and my conscience is pestering me. Minsan natetempt akong mag sorry pero iniiwasan niya naman ako kaya in the end hindi rin natutuloy.
"Chiari..para saiyo." Ani Nana.
He got up and umalis para kausapin ang tumawag. I wonder who that is? Work?
"Mom.. you two should better sort things out."
Oh well.. here comes the words of wisdom of Master Dion.
"Darling, were okay.. I guess" okay I'm not actually sure.
"Mom seriously? The two of you are not teenagers anymore. Hindi na dapat kayo nag-aaway na parang sixteen years old lang kayo. Ask for forgiveness mom kung alam mong ikaw yung may kasalanan. Apologize now before its too late."
I sighed. That's what I'm doing but Chiari is just too stubborn. Mataas rin ang pride! Bestfriends talaga kami.
Chiari came back when me and Dion are already done eating kaya hindi nalang din niya tinapos ang pagkain niya. Ewan ko sa kanya ang oa ayaw ng walang kasabay. Choosy masyado.
After I took my shower I heared my phone beeped so I picked it up and saw an unknown number.
Unknown:
I'll pick you up at 10am tomorrow.
Nicholas.
Tomorrow is the day. Hindi pa alam ni Chiari to. Another problem. Ayaw niya akong nakikipagkita ka Nicholas. Oh God kailangan ko na talagang kausapin si Chiari.
"About what?"
Napatalon ako ng makita ko si Chiari sa likod ko. What the?
"Chiari!"
"What? Anong gusto mong sabihin?" He raised his eyebrows then looked at the phone in my hands.
"May tinatago ka ba?" Anger is visible in his eyes now. Uh-oh
"Huh? Umm.. ano..umm..kasi..ahh." Shit.. How do I say this?
Hr is just looking at me waiting for my answer but befor I could finish he already stopped me.
"Nevermind. It's nothing anyway."
Nasaktan.That's what I felt. Parang sinasabi niya rin na wala siyang pakialam saakin.
