Hindi ako gumalaw o kahit kumurap man lang. I'm totally shocked. Kung hindi lang siguro hinawakan ni Chiari ang kamay ko eh baka naestatwa na ako sa kinatatayuan ko.
As we move closer to them mas lalong lumakas ang kaba ko. I looked at Nicholas. He's looking at me too. He stared at me blankly while Kuya Zapp is smiling.
"Hija.. akala ko hindi pupunta ang mga kapatid mo but here they are. Mabuti nalang din at dumalo sila at nagkita kayo. I didn't know hindi pa pala nila alam na nandito ka na." Ani Tita Merideth.
"Umm.. it-"
"It's suppose to be a surprise mom."
I looked at Chiari. He is looking at Nicholas who is staring at Denver who is carried by Chiari.
"Oh! Nak.. I'm sorry hija I didn't know. Na spoil ko tuloy yung surprise." Aniya.
I smiled at Tita. "It's okay po."
"Yanah, where have you been?" Bumaling ako kay Kuya Zapp nang nagtanong siya.
I don't know what to say. Should I tell them the truth or should I lie again?
I felt my knees shaking but when I looked at Nicholas glaring at me I kept my posture. Dapat hindi ko ipakitang naratakot ako.
"I went somewhere far from here." Sabi ko
"Abroad?"
"Hindi. Nandito lang ako sa Pilipinas Kuya." I answered.
Kuya Zapp looked satisfied about my answer but Nicholas is not. He still have that glare in his face and I don't know.. curiousity?
Kuya Zapp then looked at Tita and to Deanna. Mabilis na bumalik ang kaba ko.
"So this.. is your grandchildren Tita?" Tanong ni Kuya kay Tita Merideth.
Mabilis na tumango tango si Tita. Oh God!
"Yes! Yes! Hindi mo pa nga pala nakikilala ang mga apo ko kay Chiari at Yanah." Goodness!
Kuya Zapp looked so shock about what Tita Merideth said. Maski ako ay nagulat. What the hell!?
"W-what? So you baring twins while youre away?" He asked.
I closed my eyes and then I slowly nod. Well.. atleast I didn't lie about that part.
Walang nagsalita for about a couple of minutes. I think everyones really shock about what is happening right now.
Humalakhak si Nicholas. I don't know what's funny but he is really laughing and damn he looks dashingly handsome while doing it!
When his laughter died bigla ulit siyang naging seryoso.
"So you left 'cause you don't want us to know this? That you're pregnant? Huh, Yanah?" He asked.
Damn! He look like a dark villain while asking that while on the other hand, I'm the losing superhero.
"No"
A smirk formed on his lips.
"So what is it?" Nicholas asked.
Should I tell him? Pero ano namang sasabihin ko? Na nabuntis niya ako kaya ako umalis? Na nagbunga ang nangyari sa amin? I will look stupid if I'll say that!
"It doesn't matter hijo. What important is nandito na sila diba? And the world should know my little granchildren." Ani Tita Merideth habang nakangiti.
